"I-I can, but I care for your safety, Miss Sophie." Lian says.

 

"And I care about seeing if the theory that one of my siblings lives in the underworld is true."

 

"The underworld, Miss Sophie?" Lian asks.

 

"You know, hellhounds?"

 

"Yes, Miss Sophie, but I do not know how one would access the Underworld, nor have I heard of such a place before." Lian says.

 

"There's a giant pit in the middle of the desert leading there." Sophie says.

 

"That sounds quite intimidating, Miss Sophie," Lian says, "Would you not seek the assistance of the king once he has recovered? I feel like I may not be strong enough to survive in such a place."

 

"The king wanted to torture me. My ass that's happening." Sophie grunts.

 

"W-Well, I don't think he wishes to now, d-does he? The k-king is a great ally to have." Lian says fearfully.

 

"I'm avoiding interactions if possible. Now, why are you scared?"

 

"U-Uhm, I don't want to anger you, Miss Sophie." Lian says, scared.

 

"You can't anger me. Please, say what's on your mind."

 

"I-I just thought it would be good for you to have the king as an ally. I-I'm sorry, Miss Sophie." Lian apologises.

 

"No apologies. He would be a good ally, if he didn't intend to kill me."

 

"I'm s-sure he doesn't, Miss Sophie." Lian says.

 

She reads the mythical warriors first.

 

"Eve told me his intentions."

 

"Oh...sorry, Miss Sophie." Lian says.

 

"It's fine. I only lived because Myria kept Aj in check. Then, he plotted to burn every page in the library... I'm not playing with that."

 

"U-Uhm, if he r-really wanted you d-dead, though, you'd already be." Lian warns quietly.
