Yes this has been found, every time you "kill" it, another idol spawns representative by the number on its face. You kill it nine times until the last one and then you get a rare Chestplate with +50 elemental defense for everything and 15 powder slots.

And it's a good chestplate at that level if you have a good amount of hp, but want more elemental defenses
Just toss some Tier 2 or 3 powders on it since anything more is pretty expensive, and you'll have quite good elemental defenses, as it also has +6% -- +26% elemental defenses for each element, as well as up to 26% xp

This is a commonly known 'Secret' Mob that drops a very useful chestplate, which can hold up to 15 powders at once and is great for either singular elemental defence builds or 'Rainbow' builds (Which have defence against every element). Many people know of this, though it isn't really advertised much on the forums anymore after it's initial find, so good job on finding it and good luck fighting it!

I thought Matryoshka plate got buffed to 20 slots and it's a legendary not rare

 

I don't think an idol made of what appears to be a stone-like substance can be considered either gender or even human.

Was it really buffed? I had no idea. Nonetheless, it can hold a lot of powder.

I believe the idol is treated as a singular entity, instead of a russian nesting doll of sorts. As you kill it, you break of a layer. I guess you could say the Idols are like onions, they have layers.

except this one is took to an extravagant scale. I have a matryoshka doll, and there are only 4 or 5. well considering it might be one layer and then 10 layers and the final layer is a really small mob... I guess it makes sense and not took to an extravagant scale. But still, 10 layers? jeez.
