Media I Was Casually Browsing 9gag But Then...

That bad reputation comes from the fact that 9gag has been caught taking and reposting pictures from the internet, primarily Reddit and 4chan, and not even hiding it while putting their shitty watermark on it.

9gag itself is also kind of seen as a very low form of comedy in general.

they removed the watermark not so long ago that's why, but it's the 9gag users who are making the posts, not the admins :p

 

I'm not gonna lie, I'm actually the one who made that comment (generall_doge) xD, Didn't expect it to get that many upvotes, Or for someone to post it on the forums... The post itself was showing a bunch of high-level Minecraft buildings and a lot of people seemed to like it, So I decided to mention Wynncraft... And yes, I use 9gag, It's not that bad of an app... Jesus... People there are actually nice, Mostly.

That's not 9gag's fault, That's some of the community's fault, Although most of the people I've seen there are nice, Almost everything is a repost there, Still funny and enjoyable... But the amount of people basically taking random stuff from the internet and posting it only to get some attention has become quite a big issue, I never understood the point of it myself... You don't really get anything from doing such thing, And all the "Reposters" are too ashamed to even reply to their own posts because they know it's not original... So why even do it?

I'm a lot on 9gag too, it's not too bad if you don't care about reposts, but PLEASE do not click on the comments when its about politics or racism. You will die.
