QA is for people who want to be in the CT but have no talent! Why have creative skill when you can professionally break things?

Tip for those applying for GM:

Make sure you have plenty of free time. Being GM is going to eat up many hours due to quest/mob making and testing.

That's why I haven't sent mine application yet. It's on my folder for like 2 months since last time I edited it...

 

It dosen't matter if you joined the game 5 seconds ago guys as long as you can build you're hired!

 

I partially agree with that. With quest making it takes time to make every yml file for it, but once you get to a certain point it's just waiting on others to do required builds/command blocking/testing. Once you reach that "waiting" stage, you really aren't doing anything but being patient and waiting on other CT members.

Also, you are not treated like a "slave", as people keep leading on (and confusing others). The team is fairly laid back and will let you take your time on a project as long as you finish it before a certain time period. Only if you become heavily inactive or do "really bad" things (such as building penises around the map or something similar in inappropriate behavior) will you be kicked from the team. And no, Lotem's 18+ rated thread of build server moments does not reflect the majority of chat that goes on there. Most of it is serious, with the exception of a few "joking" conversations.

You might want to constantly apply since you'll probably get denied several times. And a warning for those who had GM applications accepted: I'm fairly certain that if you fail the trial stage, you will never get a chance to do the trial again. (Correct me if this is wrong, but I heard that from other CT members.)

The most important advice I can give you is to stay determined. If you do this, you will prevail sooner or later.

 

Maybe it's time for me to blow the dust off those old unfinished quests ideas...

Well, i have a lot of writing ideas but in school they just say " write about somebody getting lost". So maybe i can reuse them for Wynn?
