Reset A Quest?

I was in the middle of the fight where you get Dr. Essern's coat and that's when the server restarted. I tried to go back into his lab(?) to fight him but he didn't spawn in no matter how long I waited. I then talked to The Assistant but he just said to give him 8 red mushrooms which I had already done, but I decided just to kill the Mushroom Cows all over again anyway. I collected the mushrooms and tried to give them to him. He would not accept them and so now I am at a stand still. What do I do now?

As a general rule, reporting a thread to close it is better then tagging mods, as with reporting, only those 3 see it

Reporting shows every mod that there's something to tend to. Tagging only tells the ones you tag, and it could be ignored.
