I can't do landscaping on digital either.. I'm just terrible at it lol

But I've taken traditional lessons for a few years, although not many people know that.
It just feels more natural and easier for me to do landscapes with watercolor. I have no idea why though, but you should try it out too :)

Anyway, I have a decent skill with watercolour if i say myself, may try landscaping the Roots of Corruption
That's like the only place I know how to draw without reference XD

 

The painting looks great! I've always loved the colors and textures you can achieve with traditional water colors and paints, but I've never actually tried doing any traditional environment paintings. I should really try it out sometime. As of sharing my "knowledge", all I can say is just keep practicing, and use as many references as you can (such as photographs, and online tutorials.)

Well, sorry to see you go, but you can still see this message whilst not being a member.

I saw your profile post that said art takes years and that you'll never get better.
But hey, isn't that with all things in life? From school to sports to even Wynncraft.
No one is born a prodigy.

You won't matter at all if you believe that you yourself don't matter.
I have heard people say that they are useless way too many times, and that they won't get better.
Now call me cliche, but all you have to do is take action. Buy a sketchbook and pencil, and draw every single day with tutorials and guides if you really want to improve. Come back in two months and if nothing has changed, then you can tell yourself that you truly aren't capable of art.

But until then, you really aren't trying.
