The Main Storyline

So, I only found out that Wynn is getting a main story-line a few days ago and I got quite curious about it and I've done quite a bit of research since, (jk I've done 3 google searches and a Ctrl F on the twitter) but I've only been able to gather the following information:

• It's been in development for about 1 1/2 years.
• It will have two characters based on InTheLittleWood and ChimneySwift.
• It features a Cut-scene of a fight between two characters named Ragnar and Bak'al.
• The character you play is from Fruma. (thanks @Pepinho)
• It will involve Fruma and Dern, and will end in Dern, and Bob is presumed to play a bigger part. (thanks @captainganon)
• It will not be out for a very long time. (thanks @PillowPet)

That's about it.

Does anyone have any other information about the main story-line that isn't listed above? I'm really quite curious. Any new info I gather will be added to the post.

It's been "In development" since the start. I'm fairly certain there's always been a plan for a storyline.

As for details; it's going to involve Fruma and Dern, with Dern being the final endgame, since it's the source of all the darkness, decay, and corruption in the current provinces.

It starts out essentially the same as the game does now; you're a new recruit sent to Wynn from Fruma to fight the corruption, and retain no memories of your life in Fruma. After that, everything get's blurrier. It's assumed that Bob will play a bigger part, and that the lore will be further explored.

To be honest, there's not really much we know.

I wonder what Qira, ToA and wynnEx have to do with the lore.

 

Tbh I think toa is kinda not canon

 

Maybe Wynnexcavation is related to the storyline, but Qira and TOA are more like challenges from individuals.

 

I thought all current quests in Wynncraft are side quests - AKA not to do with main storyline. I could be wrong, though.

 

For ToA and Qira I get it but it would make sense for wynnEx and its story to be implemented or mentioned or explained or something. But what do I know xD

 

Don't forget that in the Corkus Stream, Grian mentioned it would not be out for a long while.
