    The more stars* the ID has the closer it is to max identification. To see if it is maxed you can compare your item to the item guide here: https://wynncraft.com/help

    don't take this as 100% accurate though

    with some items, it'll show one star even though it should have three, because of rounding errors in the star calculation.
    however, it won't show three stars when it should have one, so that effect is one-way.
