Serious Laptop Suggestions

Backstory:


so yeah my school laptop is rip and it can't be fixed

if anyone could suggest me good laptops between $200 and $300 that would be great
I don't really have a preference, as long as it's not too bulky/heavy
you can go over the price limit a bit if you have to

and remember
press F to pay respects for Soraelis' laptop

oh yeah no chromebooks or macs

 

Is it a Gaming laptop or a Work/School one?

School laptop, primarily. I really just need it to a) watch YouTube videos during study hall b) Word docs c) get sucked into the inescapable hole that is Reddit and the Wynn Forums

The inescapable hole that is the wynncraft forums? that would imply that there is something outside of the forums, since a hole is a cavity or perforation in an object. Wynncraft forums is all that matters, all there is, all there shall ever be..

 

Are you sure you can't just repair the one you have? If it is just the charger that sounds like you can go to a repair store and fix it.

 

Buy a used laptop if you have small budget.

 

Apparently the motherboard was bent inside. I mean, I could probably buy a new motherboard, but I'm not exactly sure how to install it inside a small laptop like mine.

Most of the used are really bulky and old models - I'm trying to find some that are somewhat compact.
