Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

OOC: Ignia is experienced. She's cutting her flames so they don't hit any allies.

 

OOC: Ah, ok.

 

He opts to start jetting water to try and keep the horde back, but even with the group's efforts, it seems to just... keep... coming...

The rate they're adapting is frustrating, one grenade detonating concerningly close to the group as it's blocked by a short-lived barrier.

The missiles cause the ground to rumble constantly. Perhaps now may be the time to notify Eve about the legend regarding the seal...

The blades extinguish themselves, your heightened senses leaving all at once. Your legs feel heavy and you start to feel exhausted from your rampage earlier.

 

I try flying up, as high as I can, to get a better vantage point.

 

Eve drives away, creating a plan seeing Ignia's attack.

Once she's a safe enough distance away, she puts her hand to her head before sending out a signal that Abigail's helmet can pick up.

"Abigail, I need to you to join your scorching sister over at the entrance." Eve says.

"Scorching sister? You mean team f- Wait, are you suggesting a new name for Ignia and I? Scorch Sisters? That sounds pretty awesome, actually." Abigail replies happily.

"I want you to join in her flame beam attack, the pair of you should create a cross pattern and wipe out as many as you can." Eve continues regardless.

"Message received. I'll fly my way there now. Over and out." Abigail replies, understanding the seriousness of the situation.

 

It's chaos, Ihra laying unconscious not far from the front line of the horde.

This sorts out most of the draconians, but huge torrents and tidal waves are released to counter as the horde draws closer to Ihra.
There's a weak barrier around her, but it won't do much.

 

A lot of the water is turned to steam upon contact with the beam, however the water that gets through prompts Ignia to move and dodge.

Eve rides in, standing atop her motorcycle as an energy sword slots out of her right hand and a shield of energy forms in front of her left. Eve manoeuvres around the horde, slicing draconians and blocking attacks as I randomly appear and disappear, spinning in circles to wipe out groups of draconians in the horde randomly.

 

"Wish I could do mythological creatures..."

Cecil is going to rest a little bit.

 

Droplets make contact with Ignia and Abigail after a little while.

Eve starts to be scratched after a while, one arrow in particular penetrating her outer armor and getting stuck in her. You suffer spectral wounds between teleports, though most of the other attacks don't affect you.

Resting is hard, a bit of water splashing onto you every now and then.

 

"At least it's refreshing...right?"

 

Abigail wonders how droplets from the battle she is flying to manage to make contact with her.

OOC: She 8'nt there yet!!!!!!!!


The droplets simply hiss on Ignia's armour as she continues to burn as many enemies as she can.

Eve removes the arrow, automatically beginning to repair the damage as what seems like smaller bots get to work on replacing the parts.

I continue on, healing myself in dark areas when necessary.

 

Ignore if Abigail is nowhere near the palace. There's Aquos otherwise.

It doesn't take long for the horde to thin, disperse, and try to condense to surround everyone.
Multiple dragons focus on Ignia as you struggle to find any actual darkness.

Eve is soon swamped by a falling wave, electrified water more than likely energizing her than anything.

A gryphon-like construct soars overhead, seeming to drop strings that tie themselves to each group member.

Not anymore because I'm tied by a griffin, or whatever it is.

 

It's just attatched to you. It doesn't hurt or anything.

 

She's going to try to break it without using the swords.

 

Abigail soon arrives, and teams up with Ignia to charge a powerful attack. After a short charge, the pair let out a singular beam four times the size and twice as hot, even starting to melt through the walls of the palace as it turns all it touches into ashes, then those ashes into nothing.

Eve quickly adapts, her feet changing out for flippers as she swims through the water and gains back lost energy.

I jump between draconians, spiking them from within and absorbing the darkness within their bodies, my physical presence hardly ever seen as I almost teleport from body to body.

 

Your hands just phase right through it.

 

"Well, that's just great." She's going to wait to see if anything happens to the string.

 

The entire group, Ihra included, seems to be airlifted out of the hoard.

Ignia and Abigail's beam is quickly absorbed by something, the palace visibly shaking as the roof collapses near the entrance.
Hundreds of projectiles fly at the group as you're lifted, one unified shout - "TRAITOR!!"

You're suddenly gently lifted on the ground...

 

She's going to enjoy the flight.
