Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Most creatures are here because they were unkillable on their former home planets..." Iruk warns.

"No, most bots use magic these days, or are exposed too much. Cerise isn't."

 

"I accept?"

 

"What if I just got a robot run by normal power I built?" I ask.

 

You feel weak as the blades flare up violently, green energy spewing from them as your senses are overloaded.

Suddenly, you feel you know exactly where to strike every enemy... but the longer you stand still, the weaker you become.

"I don't know how much time you have. If you're godspeed, maybe."

 

"At least my favorite color is green."

She acts like she's lowering her guard.

 

The spirits keep their distance.
"Lunge at them. Fuel the fire." The blades whisper.

 

"I guess I'll use your serpent then." I say, heading back to Eve and explaining the situation. The pair of us jump off the palace, however Eve stops herself before she hits the ground as opposed to I who simply squishes into darkness.

 

"Oh, now you don't want to kill me?"

She dashed forward to the nearest spirit and slices at the neck.

 

Upon returning to the entry, the serpent seems to be collecting the pieces of the hound.

"I am actively killing you..." They reply.
You feel a rush of energy as you seem to launch inhumanly fast at the spirit, utterly decimating it with a single swipe.
However, your soul burns still.

 

Eve and I quickly retrieve the motorcycle, before riding toward the entrance.

"Hey, reptile robot!" I shout at the serpent.

 

It hisses, slapping the ground in front of you with its tail.

 

I stick my tongue out at the serpent.

 

(OOC: Dang, I cut that spirit to a tenth)

In that case, Cecil slices through every spirit until she reaches the end of the hallway.

 

It roars, a small note falling out of its teeth.
It rears and prepares to launch at you.

After a bloodbath, your mind seems numb.
"Burn more... fuel your fire..." They whisper, their power finally feeling manageable to you.

 

I quickly teleport to and from the note, grabbing it, before Eve rides off.

 

"Please don't destroy Cerise, she took nearly a year to build.
-Sapphire"

"Cerise" seems furious, chasing after you and Eve.

 

(OOC: The spirits actually bled? Or is that figurative?)

What's at the end of the right pathway?

 

Eve rides back to the location of the barrier in the palace, having remembered where it was.

 

Figurative.

There's Aj and a robot riding a motorcycle, a massive mechanical serpent chasing them.

Cerise can't catch up, but she doesn't lose distance.

 

"...Just going to back away slowly."

She's backing away slowly.
