How Bannable Is Duping? (and A Few Other Questions)

#1 How bannable is duping? I'm just curious because I see people who duped stuff getting unbanned :/ I thought it was a perma ban, but idk anymore, any mods can clear this up?
#2 What if someone dupes just for themselves, and doesn't sell it? Is that bannable too? Cuz dye-ing armor isn't bannable if you don't sell it and fuck up the economy, even tho its still abusing a bug, so I was wondering if the same rules apply here too. Idk, sooo :P
#3 Last question, is trading untradable items using the new bug found bannable? xD

1. Normal ban. Can be appealed, like most others.
2. Yes, it's glitch abuse.
3. Yes. They're untradable for a reason.
4. No, you didn't need a mod for this.

I don't cheat xD And the one time I fucked up and did something against the rules, I posted a public apology I felt so bad. So no, I am NEVER doing bad shit again, I was asking so that I could avoid doing it, and to know what to avoid in particular :/

I asked @Broettinger in-game about that, he said as long as you don't sell it, its okay.

 

Well its like guild color chat, doesn't hurt anyone but still glitch abuse

 

i wouldnt mind an economy where mythics are worth a 10th part of it

Yes. Color chat is bannable even though a few months ago AFK grinders who abused glitches to level up insanely quickly weren't banned.

 

Regarding the title of this thread, Duping is one of the worst offenses against the Wynncraft rules, Giving some players the ability to crash the economy with a single trade, And break the game completely, Yet it could still be appealed if it is your first ban (From what I know).

 

i usually used it for special stuff in the guild chat, like the welcome of a recruit or something :c

 

Sometimes dupers give other people duped items and they can be unbanned because they didn't dupe the items them self. And duping is illegal no matter what you intend to do with the items. And the glitch to trade untradables is illegal and bannable.

 

thank you for clearing that up! What about the glitch that dyes armor tho? Someone gave me a full set of dyed armor the other day, for free, is that okay? >.<
