Im getting flashbacks to my thread.

Gonna help you out and tell you:
-People will immedietly piss on it if they aren't high enough lvl or have a build.
-People will want certain people banned from it
-Finding a fair arena is a pain
-Many people don't have enough builds for a 3v3 so you HAVE to do 1v1
-1v1s are inconsistent and will have alot of salt
-You gonna make a lot of rules on healing and potions
-If you ban certain builds people wont participate, but if you don't, others wont participate.
-If you ban mage many people wont participate, but if you don't, others wont participate
-It is going to be impossible to find time when everyone is on to do this. This means the tourney will be cut up into parts and will take weeks depending on how much people.

I still trust that every builds have their own specific counter way, I think no reason to ban anything tbh lol, seldom ppl know how anyway.

 

Cactus, mega poison, rainbow alk and all the dominating builds pre nerf.

How do you counter those?

depends which set, actually every cacti are fine
Example: cactus rainbow tank mage, cataclysm or Fatal ez counter (ofc skills required)

A lot of non-poison based weapons just happen to have a bit of poison. I would suggest capping poison at around 1000/3s, as you said earlier. I would also suggest allowing a limited number of potions/heals per battle, otherwise mage will just be ridiculous... (You could also ban pots and heals altogether).

Mythics may be a problem...

 

the problem with banning heal is that mage basically loses one of its biggest strengths and gets no tradeoffs... maybe give it some heal pots instead of heal? idk.

 

Yeah, I feel like everyone having the same healing capabilities is probably the most balanced thing.

 

Of course it'd be easier to counter a build if your opponent tells you exactly what build they use pre-fight. But if you're running your generic tanky-damagey build and your opponent pulls out their aids poison cactus, you won't be able to do anything.

 

Actually you can figure it out by yourself...... elements/ticks damage/reflected damage could give you hints about that..

 

How are you supposed to figure it out if you haven't fought the guy beforehand?

 

Of course in fighting, no one said you could only get 1 build to fight.

 

I think it's pretty clear that you can't change your build during a fight, otherwise it'd just become an endless loop of two people constantly changing classes.
