Music Reign Of Ozoth

I've never really done music before much, but I decided to just try this for the contest and see how it goes. Just made it with musescore and posted it on musescore.com. Here's the link: Click

 

It's a good song, but I personally don't like the trombone to much

My first issue is that the song is in 3/4 but written in 4/4, but that doesn't affect the sound so it won't affect my judgement, just a personal nitpick.

The song starts out decent, but it gets gets repetitive very quickly, and trombone is too loud and abrupt. There's isn't a very clear melody for the majority of the song, and when it finally does come in, it's the only part playing. The chords that the song does have are nice, but it just seems to lack an essential structure. It's not bad for a first song, but there's a lot to be improved on.

Mind you, I'm not judging the music category, or if I am, Pretz hasn't told me yet. This is just my two cents.

 

Yeah, that's just because I didn't have any idea how it was going to be at first, I just sort of made a blank page and started writing, and I'm pretty new to musescore, so I don't actually know how to change that after the score is made XD
