"Get the fuck out of me and fight your own battle." Milla grunts, a spectral spear now through her torso.

Again, you get half the blockade before everyone opens fire.
On Milla.
Cue split-second shadow reaction.

Iruk nods, just before Aj-draconian cuts into half the regiment before Iruk cringes, knowing what's coming.

 

I suddenly beckon him, that now our time.

 

"Wow, consider our deal fucking over then, asshole." I say, performing some fabulous dance moves as I dodge the oncoming fire impeccably.

 

"I'm bleeding out, dumbass. As far as I'm concerned, you're trying to make me lower my guard to kill me."

Iruk reluctantly dives to pick up speed, rushing towards you.

 

Pulling my sword, I start diving as well.

 

"You say you know the Shadow King, yet your thick skull can't process the most basic knowledge about Shadows?" I ask.

Seems Milla's fine, her wounds covered by darkness.

"Least you get the satisfaction of me killing you. If you ever come back in a second life or whatever, maybe you'll learn not to sassmouth someone who controls your life and death." I add.

 

"I'd apologize if you could be swayed." Milla sighs. "Besides, the only thing we know about shadows is that they exist to kill."

OOC: When you're in the middle of RPing and your family calls you over to watch a movie

 

"That's racist." I say, offended, pulling off more sweet dance moves while I dodge to almost taunt the blockade as my shurikens pick them off.

 

I dive, aiming for some guards that are threatening AJ, and getting ready to slice.

 

"I'm sorry, but didn't you call yourself a genocidal demon? I'll just let you frame me a bit longer before I even try to wrap my head around this..."

Again, you and Iruk pick off a few before the rest learn and fall back behind the barrier.

 

I take half a second to examine the barrier.

 

I sigh.

"I don't fucking care anymore." I say, leaving the blockade and heading back to the group.

Once I get back to the group, everyone else seems to be waiting; shielded. Eve sits playing a game of chess with Aeris, a parked motorcycle next to her, and Eve's attire making her look strikingly like some kind of robot from the future sent back in time to kill a specific person.

"This sucks." Abigail says as I sit down as Milla. Abigail and Ignia seem to be roasting marshmallows in their hands, bored expressions on their faces. Katie and Aqui seem to be playing a card game of some kind, while Artemis, Victus, Mortimer and Myria appear to be having some kind of lunch. Stephanie lies on the ground, conscious, but tired.

"If this were some kind of game, I'd give it a 2/10," I say, agreeing, "Good mechanics, bad gameplay, impossible to find key characters, diffculty scale through the roof to impossibility."

"Even Super Dragon RPG's castle attack segment was better than this. You have enemies weakening your characters you have to find and kill, then you can assault the defence, then you can fight the boss. This is like if the enemies weaking your characters glitched out the map or something and the defence was invulnerable." Abigail complains.

"Abigail, this isn't a video game, this is real life. It's not designed to be won." Myria says, though she seems equally bored as everyone else.

"We know, we were just likening it to one." I explain for Abigail.

 

It seems to just be made to keep you out. Nobody's on your side of it; they're just trying to keep you out.

Milla laughs.
"You know, Sophie would just flee once you got close to Xlentia. She always runs. Against someone who only runs and hides, I'm surprised you couldn't put two and two together. Never will find her, but you'd know when you pushed her out of hiding."
She pauses.
"In retrospect, going back to your deal... I'll shut up if you get out of my body and let me go home."

Ihra's horns flash, and she jolts awake.
"Mmngh... Aaahh..." She groans, rubbing her eyes.

 

After Cecil left the spirits alone, she goes to check on Ihra.

"Are you ok Ihra?"

 

"No." She growls. "I thought I asked you guys to distract Xlentia. Why're you still out here?"

 

"There was some random spirits down at the right hallway. The others took the left pathway, which the draconians blocked us off by a barrier."

 

"Are you not strong enough to break the barriers? I also thought the group had weapons that could cut into spirits... I know Ruby also snuck that ability into Abigail's claws." Ihra sighs.

 

"Pretty much everyone is at the left path. They're...doing something. I'm just going to ask a draconian in the library. Wanna come?" She asks.

 

I re-appear from being invisible.
"I wish to go."
