A draconian clearly posessed by Aj is flung to a wall below you.

 

I signal Iruk to notice what I notice, and slow down flying.

 

Iruk seems to already have turned to investigate.

 

I pretend to pass out, lying limp.


Milla feels a sharp pain at her heart again.

"I'm offering you a way home. You shouldn't be rude if I'm giving you sympathy. I might as well kill you now to make my life easier, but oh look, I'm having a heart and trying not to get you killed."

 

"Since when were you offering me a way home? You dragged me back here in the line of fire, tried to get me killed, tried to kill me yourself, and you're acting like you've an ounce of sympathy?" She retorts.

 

I get his attention quietly, then signal him to watch for an opening.

 

He shakes his head, glancing back at the draconian.

 

"Because that was going to be a sweet reward after I'm done with you. Your plight touched me, but right now you're basically saying 'Kill me'." I say.

 

"Everyone has a kill me tag to you, huh? Thing is, nobody I know has survived your shit. There wouldn't be anything for me at the end, nonetheless for something I don't even have." She mumbles.
"I don't want to hear about your friendship with Ihra. You've wiped out refugees and liberated minds fleeing as indiscriminantly as combatants. Hell, I'm surprised you even bothered to talk to me! So go ahead. You want to make me just another statistic? Another kill for your record? Fine. We both know you're rubbing in the fact I can't stop you."

 

Pointing at the draconian, I give a thumbs up, indicating that AJ's good at what he's doing, but I signal again to support him when he'll need it.

 

Iruk shakes his head, pointing to an empty hand.

 

"You would like that, wouldn't you? You want me to kill you, to at least prove to yourself or something who I am, a genocidal demon. I'm going to deprive you of that pleasure, I'm going to keep you alive, healthy even, so you can never get the satisfaction of me killing you." I say.

 

"Half of me is relieved, the other half is curious on where the hell this side of you came from." She sighs.

 

I make an x with my fingers, and pretend to pull a wing blade out of my back, like Iruk previously did, then then make a questioning face.

 

Iruk nods.

 

"You're just a single piece in this 1000 piece puzzle. Honestly I couldn't give less of a fuck if you died, it's just fun playing with minds." I say, pretending to wake up.

I recede my precence, letting Milla take control for a bit while I remain hidden within.

 

Thinking, I view the held weapons of the guards.

 

"That's the shadow king my people know." Milla grumbles, collapsing.
Seems you've sapped her more than you thought.

Pretty much dozens of variations of various weapons. Spears, halberds, battleaxes, swords, bows, crossbows... if you put them all up on a wall, it'd be impressive.

 

"Then you're beleiving in a false idol." I say, taking back control and slitting the throats of the blockade in one swift dash.

 

Gesturing to Iruk, I point towards one of the weapons, point towards Iruk, and make a snatching motion.
