New Level Cap Coming Soon?

Now, yesterday while completing the Tower of Ascension, I got a special Potion drop.

The potion said Heal 22 and when I tried to use it I saw this.

That's right, a level requirement of lvl 105. I tried relogging to see if it was a bug
and it was NOT. It stayed like that.

So I guess this means the level cap will soon be raised?

I searched through the forums and I didn't see any post about this so if
this was mentioned somewhere else, just say it nicely :D.

well then
what are they gonna do about 101? we have tons of people who have worked so hard for it and if they bump the level cap they'll likely have to make 100-101 easier

that means the people at 101 will get level boosted, just like when gavel raised from 75 to 100

 

I agree with Bloww, I feel like they will raise the level cap to 110. Then Fruma will probably be 130, and Dern will be 150.

 

I don't see it being wise to raise the cap, there's already lack of quests in a certain levels, and adding more wouldn't help.

With Corkus, there will be LOTS more quests for levels 80-100, there will also be 1 or 2 quests for the Sky Islands area and there may also be the molten heights storyline.
If they raise the cap to 110 and even if there are only 2 or 3 quests above level 100, then it will still get people to play if they are determined to get up to max level.

On the other hand, the content team may just raise the cap to 105 so that you can't get all the way up to the level max from questing only (assuming there are enough quests with this update)

 

corkus might fill the 80-100 gap but we don't know when the main/molten heights story is coming so I feel like it would still be wise to hold off.

 

They should have known that the level cap would be raised someday.

Before 1.14.1 , we did afk grind for 101
After Store update and before totem nerf, we did totem afk for 101
After 1.15, what would it be?
100-101=1-100
I guess they will lower the amount of xp to get to 101.
Tbh I really want more lvl to get more skill points so I don't have to buy expensive skill points shits.

They don't have to. They can make reaching level 105 five times as hard XD then level 101

 

you found this in ToA right? Mobs drop potions now and they drop potions near their level range, and ToA mobs go up to level 110 with Death itself being lv 150. Therefore it is possible that the system isn't perfectly implemented and the mobs there drop lv 105 potions

In regard of level cap rises, Grian himself confirmed there will not be level cap rise in planned content, which include Fruma and Dern. So it probably not gonna be raised in a few more years
