Ready for this super amazing, super experimental backstory?!

In a pocket dimension is a green field surround by mountains, in the center of the field are the remains of a once beautiful house. What happened to the house you ask? Well 10 years ago, a family used to lived there. A father (let's call him...Tenebrae *wink* *wink*) and his wife ( we'll call her...Spira *nudge* *nudge*) live there with their kids Daniel and Cindy, twins. Tenebrae was a well skilled mage and book worm who often researched many strange phenomenons thought the realms. Calling his study a study, would be an insult against libraries. Spira was a strong warrior on the other hand, a complete master with the spear (not Fier or Bob levels of good, but good enough). She also gets a lot of reputation from befriending a dragon but that's totally not important at all. Not like dragons play a huge plot point in the over arching story or anything XD. Anyways, the twin Fate siblings became masters in their own right in the art of runes and symbol magic. And they're like 5 at this point! Daniel became and expert in fire manifestation and portrayed her mother's hot head, speed and reaction time in combat. Cindy was more like her father on the other hand, cool minded and thought situations through. She mastered frost magic (think Elsa in the beginning of Frozen) and generally gave off a cold aura (metaphorically and literally).

Of course the siblings got cocky and they messed with what they shouldn't have. While the parent were downstairs talking business with some Metas, the twins got their hand on one of their father's book. The book claimed that by combing the power of both of them, they'd both receive great power. So they tried the spell, and of course they messed it up...badly. The twins ended up fusing into one body, which constantly flashed back and forth between the 2. They both knew they would be in insane trouble, any nether wanted to go downstairs to tell their parents. Especially since the discussion downstairs seems to have turned into a heated argument. The Metas stormed out. Spira was obviously in rage, Tenebrae was pacing back and forth. When Cindy asked what happened, they were told to go to bed. The next morning, the twins were woken by Spira, who didn't question the constant switching back and forth between the twins (the new markings on the body sorta give away they messed with something they shouldn't have). They were told to pack a satchel with some of their belongings and come downstairs. Downstairs, Daniel and Cindy there parents packing some stuff. It was obvious they we're leaving. Tenebrae and Spira were turning over shelves, bookcases and furniture looking for...something. Meanwhile, there was a massive pounding at the door, the twins went over to open it to find the Metas who came back with some "friends". They stormed in with clear intentions to kill. <insert parents were dealing in some shady business cliche here> Tenebrae, clearly not satisfied that they hadn't found what they were looking, did what any responsible parent clearly would have done in that situation and chucked the twins into a portal...somewhere. The twins (still swapping back and forth between bodies) woke up in the sewage water of Almuj. Tomorrow was supposed to be their birthday.

And so, for the next 10 years, Daniel & Cindy grew up as orphans in and around Almuj. They learned to control the whole body swapping thing, took up odd jobs across Wynn, trained their powers and basically did orphan stuff. However, they wish to one day find there parents and return home (and undo this spell while they're at it). Oh and yeah, it's the war between realms.
Other: This took 45 minutes to type, so please accept. Also let me know if I used Metas wrong in this sense, I'm still new to them. Also, a digital batch of cookies says I don't have to change the names of the parents. =D
Seriously, this probably the longest thing I ever had to type on the forums.

I accept it...I guess. I would like to change the ending though. Instead of the Metas storming in, they erase the memory of Tenebrae, Spira, and Cindy/Daniel. That is what they do to keep Metas a secret.

"Doubt he'll give it to us." I murmur. "We should learn a variety of forms over extremely powerful forms. It will make it easier to learn harder forms in the future and powerful forms are likely tiring."

I sit up and decide to check the riddle and the answer to the riddle I picked up.

Backstory: They all lived the normal daily life of a Sern, that is until random portals started appearing and dumping people from them, ultimately starting a war. Since then the villages have gotten a lot more defensive, and many of the Serns that used to have normal lives are being trained to fight and guard the villages because of the war. However, with the Astral Realm starting to lose the battle, the leaders of each village came together and decided that something must be done if they are to insure the survival of the Sern race. That solution was to send a group of 5 pioneers, 1 of each class and 1 Sern from each village (absolutely perfect how there's 5 villages xD ) to find a new place that the race could call home if ever the Wynn Realm did succeed in conquering the Astral Realm. These 5 pioneers were named Rah, Sehn, Murah, Hurn, and Yem. When it was time, they packed there stuff (each have 5 le?), said goodbye to their old life, and set out to find another place that their race could call home if ever their origins came to ruin.

Primary Weapon: Their primary is whatever their respective class normally has.

Secondary Weapon: They all carry a knife, just in case.

Realm/Starting Place: Astral, in Apis, their central village.

Other: Rah is a dark mage, Sehn is a priest, Murah is a sandmancer, Hurn is a noble, and Yem is a follower.
