    Guys, I think I figured out when Hiveswap is getting released.

    So, as we know, Hiveswap is about the human, Jude, being transported to the troll planet, Alternia, in place of the troll Dammek.

    What connection does this have to the release date?

    In Homestuck the 'Trolls' pestered the kids, John, Rose, Dave and Jade, over Pesterchum. We're supposed to believe these are simply internet trolls, until it's revealed that they're an alien species actually called 'Trolls', and that it was a clever play on words.

    This is where the release date lies. What is the release date? February 1st.

    Now, you may be sceptical, so allow me to back this up. As we currently know, Hiveswap is supposed to be released 'January 2017', that's all we've been told, and that's what we've been told repeatedly in regards to Hiveswap's release. However, I believe it will be February 1st, the day after January ends. Why is this? Because Hiveswap is a game mainly focused around a planet home to Trolls. Trolls that, in Homestuck, were first portrayed as internet trolls. By releasing Hiveswap on February 1st and saying it will be released in January (over the internet), we've been set up for the ultimate trolling for a game about trolls.

    Andrew Hussie is trolling all of us. It's the ultimate shitty twist. It's a twist nobody would expect, but it's really shitty because it both brings up hype and kills it for January, and is a bad twist just to release it the day after January ends.
