I'm sure the level cap will increase when fruma is released

 

well wynn being the server it is theyd probably raise the level cap to 125 for gavel and add no quests between 110-125

He also said that they aren't going to raise the level cap

 

Well the level cap won't be raised when corkus is released, we cannot assume that it won't be raised in future updates

 

I'm like 'No please not 100+ because having lvl.150 just doesn't look right'.

 

Fruma will most likely raise the level cap, because every province will have a long fight trought mobs quest starting 40 levels after the level for the first city. Frumas gate is level 60 making the quest level 100+.

Why are folks concerned about this?

If the game expands significantly, they may decide to adjust something. Maybe, levels will need to be rescaled to keep the 100/101 end point intact while including the additional story/quests. Maybe they move the cap higher to accommodate the additional play available. Or they do nothing, just declare everything new: lvl 100+, and instead of XP they just give you class/quest specific lvl. 101 mythics or other badges of honor.

Do any of the above ideas really change the feel of the game so much that it would be ruined? Change happens. Sometimes good, sometimes not. But change always comes.

Obviously lvl 101 won't be nearly as hard if they raise the level cap.
