Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Sounds like a fun prank." Abigail replies evilly.

"Um, well, I think I need another demonstration." Abigail says, playing with some colour changing fire.

"Well, I'd be happy to." Ignia says happily, taking Abigail's flame and throwing it up, creating a pretty firework when it explodes. Abigail smiles at Ignia, and she winks back.

 

The firework then starts chaining after a few seconds, singing the rest of the unsinged ground until it finally dies down.
"Damn I hope you had earplugs..." Ruby mutters to Abigail. "I've heard things being burned alive but those are somethin' else."

 

Strangely, the fire drifts toward and clumps up above Ignia's hand before it reaches the ground, forming a fireball which Ignia eats.

"Control, Abigail, and you have great power." Ignia says, smirking.

 

"Fine! I'll just get Kailee."

"Soooo....Can you fly me back to the city?" Cecil asked Kailee.

 

Ruby reappears in front of Ignia.
"You know, I think I might like you, heheh..." She says, giggling. "What say you work with me in the coming fight?"

"That works. Be here soon." Xephyr sighs.

"Yeah, but I'm at the beach. Sand is nice and warm."

 

"When you get here, please don't ask about the swords."

 

"Thank you, but as I've taught Abigail here, you need control. I'd rather do the job I've been set than work with some...Capricious prankster." Ignia says, serious.

 

"You have nothing to teach me." Ruby retorts, extracting some of the fireball from Ignia. "If I wanted precision, then I wouldn't be Xlentia's right-hand gal. And no, I won't serve her corrupt self. I work with Ihra to free her." She growls, mistrusting.

"Who said I was coming to you?" She asks, seemingly nervous.

 

"Why do you make things harder?"

Cecil is going to look through Kailee's eyes.

 

Ignia sighs, turning back to Abigail.

"Where were we?" Ignia asks, ignoring Ruby.

"Channeling power through a precise point." Abigail says.

"Ah, yes. Of course." Ignia says, going back to teaching Abigail.

 

She's made herself a spot on the shoreline, curled up in the sand.
"Because I don't know where you are."

Ruby keeps watch, waiting for Abigail to get the hang of it.


Ihra glances at Stephanie, flinches, then walks off a bit from the group.

 

"Remember where you met Rineth and the others? That's where I am."

 

Abigail makes slow progress through Ignia's patient tutoring.


"Ghan'vti rghjkk?" Stephanie calls after Ihra.

 

"Alright... I'm coming." She mumbles.

Ruby just waits, leaving a clone.


Ihra turns.
"I'm sorry... but stop. Please." She replies before continuing on.

 

"Thank you."

 

The clone does little to nothing as the pair seem to have forgotten about Ruby altogether.


"Do'djsmfr?" Stephanie asks, confused, the dark aura still persistent around her.

 

"However, I do want to know: what would entail this realm if Xlentia were to succeed in the battle?"

 

After a while, Kailee comes and lands next to you, lowering herself to the ground.

The clone simply waits...


"I can't understand you. You'll need someone to translate or just please stop trying to talk to me." Ihra replies, flustered.

"Probably its destruction..."

 

Stephanie thinks for a bit, before pointing in the direction Ihra was headed, then looking confused.

 

Ihra shakes her head before walking off, seeming to look for something- probably Rineth.
