"Correct. Only infused weapons." Ruby affirms.

 

"I guess so."

 

"You'll need extra protection if you're gonna live." Ruby says bluntly. "Unless you have some way to cheat death."

 

"I believe we should bring as much as we can from here, to be safe. If this 'Void' truly lacks darkness and light, I don't doubt it lacks other things like earth and water. While Aqui and Katie can channel water, I think Tirra taking a golem suit in there might help. Earth guardians need Earth, don't they?" Mortimer suggests.

"Very true. A large golem suit however would make her vulnerable to erasure, as seen with a previous foe turned friend Crelucium. Size isn't everything." Myria says.

"Perhaps a loaded spike ball? She can deal damage while remaining medium size." Mortimer suggests.

"That may work." Myria says, nodding.

 

"Keep in mind that if you make yourself bigger, she can swat you more easily. Her claws may not be sharp, but they don't need to be sharp to utterly crush you."

 

"I don't have anything else, that and I'm human. Unlike most of the people here, if not all."

 

"I was thinking a ball around twice Tirra's size, filled in with Earth. She won't be too large a target. Besides, Tirra's a resilient girl. She can take a few heavy hits." Mortimer explains.

 

"Then we'll try and keep you alive over anything else, though it'd be best if you stayed here."

"There's a difference between a few heavy hits and getting stomped on by a supermassive draconic deity whose body affects planet's day-night cycles by standing on it. Still, I hope you're right."

 

"Well. I do have an idea. Xephyr, do you still have that weird runic sword?"

 

"Well, put like that, none of us have a chance. Though, it has been said that Earth guardians sometimes ride into the atmosphere on meteors as they can resist it and the fall damage." Mortimer says.

 

"Yeah... you aren't really going to try those, are you?" She asks, worried.

"Then she'll just need to not be shattered. Heavy hitters will be a nice distraction.

 

"It's the only option that involves me living. Other than staying here."

 

"That's why I paired Tirra and Aeris. I believe their combination of sheer weight and lift abilities might be enough to create a wrecking ball scenario." Myria explains.

 

"No, it's the option that makes you kill yourself!" Xephyr warns.

"Well, why the hell did you offer me the swords in the first place!"

 

Myria and Mortimer shrug at the same time.

 

Xephyr hesitates.
"Because when the blades are active, you can see."

Ruby laughs.
"I love a good group of fighters. Hope you like puppets, too."

 

"Thr'nxv?" Stephanie asks, looking confused following the puppet statement.

 

"Can't you just tell me?"

 

Ruby ignores her, vanishing.
"Remember to nag me when you pin a commander. I've still got a hit list of my siblings."
