Serious Hard Times

So yes, last night I tried to take my own life. Before I get started I want to let the community know it wasn't their fault. If anything they delayed this attempt. This had to do with many personal real life things that were effecting me.
So late last month, I was watching over the South American exhibit at my facility. In this exhibit we have open pools so you can get a better look at our sawbacks and ocelot stingrays. The only issue is, sometimes kids and their parents are too stupid to read the massive signs that say this exhibit is not a touchpool. Some kid put his hand in the water, and up came the ray, spines equipped. It stung the kid. I can't go into further details from there because of privacy reasons but all I can say is that he had to get his finger amputated. The parents decided to sue, therefor as of late I've been buried with legal things and resource requests. Fast forward a week or two and I start getting threats against my life, friends, and family, just adding to the stress. I'm sorry if this post is negative, I felt this needed to be shared.

i feel so bad for you and it really annoys me how 99.9% of the global population are either ignorant,stupid,selfish,gready or all of these and more

you guys have free access to dangerous animal exhibits?

 

having free acess to such places isn't anything bad if their are warnings and people lets say under 16 are supervised by smart adults
also if the animals can't get out of the water and attack the people

sorry to say it since it doesn't help your stress, but in the justice system (or what's left of it), the person with the most money wins.

 

We have volunteers that watch over the pools. We were short that day.

Don't let those people get the better of you. It's not your fault or the other staff of your aquarium that they decided to leave their child unsupervised. If they're making threats against your life, you need to get in touch with the police. Suicide is never the answer, ever.

 

Yeah, it was a dick move on my part..

 

It doesn't make any sense to press charges on you for some fucking ridiculous reasons, these parents have no responsibility and a lack of shame, pinning shit on you for the wrong reasons, plus if they were to take that to the court, where is their evidence, there is no way that you can try to pin something really irresponsible on you, hell, it's so bad, in fact that they might lose the case entirely, mainly for them being really irresponsible and really dumb parents, there is no reason for you to be charged. It's just really dumb even from some arrogant parents.

People can be so ignorant. They sometimes have no regard for other people's feelings, and so many of them are selfish and greedy as well. This is a prime example: Most people can never accept that they're in the wrong. They think it best to blame people, even at the expense of their well-being or lives, selfishness and ignorance at their primest.

Humans are starting to seem like a failed experiment by whatever deity exists. At least there are some reasonable people in existence... This is the part where I start destroying everything around me with my bokken out of frustration... I know inanimate objects that can act more reasonable than some humans!

Final Note: Suicide is, in it's own way, selfish. There are people who will be affected by it negatively. Remember, there is almost always more than one way out of a situation, but you don't have to find it on your own.

I hate it when people can't read blatantly obvious rules. If anything it's the parents fault for letting their kid touch the pool anyway

Well, I'm assuming that it would be to expensive for the superiors. They couldn't get their gold-plated yacht if they payed for a measly fence.
