Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

Abigail lands nearby, walking over.

"So, I just realised, we're going to be going and fighting that huge dragon bitch soon!?" Abigail asks, clearly surprised.

 

"Yeh." Ihra says. "Like, whenever we get to her chambers."

 

"We're going to die..." Abigail says, despair in her voice.

 

"No we're not. If we were, she coulda killed us when she talked with Aj." Ihra says happily.

 

"Still, we're going with the intention to kill her right? You don't think she's going to wise up and try and freaking kill us too!?" Abigail exclaims.

 

"We're not trying to kill her. Just weaken her!" Ihra says. "But yes, she's still trying to kill us. Don't stand in front of her claws, duh."

 

"If only we still had that killer robot Aj had..." Abigail says sadly, sitting down and warming her face with a fireball.

 

"Why couldn't he go get it? Except if you kill Xlentia then we have tons of problems."

 

"So what's the plan here? What are we doing?" Abigail asks.

 

"Storm palace, weaken Xlentia, free her. Then we can't get erased from existence without warning."

 

Abigail turns pale, "R-Right...we...can...just not exist...with one of her attacks..." Abigail says, terrified.

 

"But if we free her, then she's on our side!" Ihra says happily.

 

"Can't we just talk it out?" Abigail asks, shaking.

 

"If you want to surrender and serve her."

 

"Maybe she wants to be freed!?" Abigail says.

 

"You realize what we had to do to other draconians to free them from mind control - we had to nearly kill them. Same deal."

 

"Yes, but those were weaklings. We're essentially going up against a god here! You think we can come close to killing a god!? A paradoxical being couldn't even hurt her!!!" Abigail exclaims.

 

"What are we supposed to do? Let her recharge her energy and just wipe this world and us with it?"

 

"Well..." Suddenly, something dawns upon Abigail.

"You can, maybe, but I'm getting everyone else and leaving here. You're doomed anyway if you think you seriously stand a chance against someone like Xlentia. We'd be like an ant trying to nibble her toes." Abigail says.

 

Ihra looks at Abigail, betrayed.
"...Fine. Don't expect me to be happy with you if I succeed." She sighs.
