Element Def

All of my armor has +thunder dmg so I put 2 thunder powders on my weapon. I met a boss that had really high thunder def so I did literally 0 dmg. Is it a stupid thing to all in your elemental dmg into one element??

 

I wouldn't call it stupid, just use a second weapon with neutral damage if you can't deal any damage with your primary weapon.

 

It isn't stupid, but find a weapon that has different damage types, but you can still use without changing your build
Or just neutral damage

 

So I should carry more than 1weapon?

 

Like the majority of players do for that reason, yes :P

Some people have 5+ different weapons
I usually have 2 or 3 (eg. Weathered or Grimtrap + Rewind + Slider) (eg .Gale's Force + Awakening + Cluster)
IMO the best thing to do is find a weapon that does another damage type, but no requirements, for instance the dagger Rewind. Purely because you can just throw it in with any build to fill that gap so you can do more damage on mobs weak to that element

 

I also usually have 2 or 3(Lament,MorroWind and Predposledni)
