Art #throwback To The Swarms Before Wynnter

A friend told me about this challenge and I just couldn't resist...
First of all, if y'all weren't here for a long time, swarms were when a whole bunch of mobs would go into a town and ppl had to kill em. This piece of art isn't any Wynncraft mob-specific, but more so around the idea of corrupted mobs and everything evil (greediness mainly) in general.
Hope you like it (took me a good two days and a lot of hours)

P.S. I'm going to be using this piece in my college application portfolio next year so idk if that disqualifies me from the competition or nah
P.P.S. The paper's a bit wrinkled cuz i dripped water all over it (you can tell at the bottom)

This looks great! Personally, hands are a tough subject for me, even after multiple.. multiple hand studies. You nailed them though! :)

I think it would look better if an emerald was added into the highest Palm. It would give an extra sense of greed and desire to the figures, along with making it clearly relating it to Wynn.

Well mobs in wynncraft don't really desire emeralds - those are the villagers haha. Its more of their thirst in blood (also too late to change it i already painted over it with water thats why the paper's so wrinkly)

(But hey, this looks really cool, although I'm not entirely sure how the zombie hands relate to swarms, so much. I think it should be a good candidate to win.)

Also I just noticed that by dropping water, the paper gives a sort of undulating, rocky effect! Idk if you'll understand my perspective, but look up the "Great Hall of Bulls" to see what I mean.

I think I'm the only one that sees it this way lol rip

Nonetheless, I like how you took advantage of yourself by making the DOOR as a pallete tray.

 

LMAO i was just bored so i smeared my hands with diff colors of paint that door took 10 minutes to paint max

 

Wow. Very creepy. I'm going to have to draw something 100 times better than what I have right now, if I want to win.
