There's more than one way to skin a cat, so instructions differ depending on the glitch/exploit used.

 

If someone buys an item and found out its duped, tells a mod, will it get confiscated without refunds?

 

Throw it in the lava.
It will get back in your inventory and a floating point exception error will overflow in the plugin's code and wrongly assume it's in your inventory twice.

 

OHHH NOOO!! You don't say! Shit... That's happened to me loads of times with junk items, but when I throw it out again, nothing drops...

I don't think a human being can be this dense but I'll humour you :

You're asking, on the game's official forums, with ingame mods, about a glitch that can potentially screw over the economy.
People who are found to be exploiting items in are banned (most likely forever without appeal tbh), and people who don't want to give the items that they got illegally are banned as well.

Do you really think a mod, or anybody, will tell you (and others) how to exploit shit in and fuck over people in the process ?

 

People used the Detlas Trashcan to dupe their items. During that period people threw their items in and a few command blocks under it process the item and clones it. 10/10 exploit 5/7 will try

Let's all calm down, I feel like there was a huge misunderstanding here with asking questions.

@Oskhol1 duped items are made through glitches found in the game these glitches can be anything random that hasn't been discovered yet.

 

What if the player found the item on the floor and didn't price check

OR

What if the duped item was sold for its normal price
