Quest 'the Lost' Glitch?

I was giving a letter to one of the NPCs and before the dialogue finished the server restarted. (This was letter 4/5) After I joined another server (This was after the horse fix for 1.9 and up), I gave the last letter to the one needed, but it said I still had one more to give, but I have no more letters. I went back to each of the 5 and the starter of the quest, and they all say I need to find someone else. I think I need another copy of the letter for Kofis (The NPC that this happened).

Can a mod or somebody help me out, if possible? Thanks.

I tried that, all it gave me was the Healing Water from that one quest in Dernel Jungle.

 

Try to talk to Kofis if you haven't tried to, and what does your quest book say?

 

The quest book says "Find the last missing member of Dejol's crew." And I have talked to Kofis, and they just say to look for more flags. I've been to all 5 of the NPCs and none of them are helping

I've got no idea, I feel like they should be quest items and not untradeable.

 

Is there a way I could get the letter for Kofis and see if giving it to them would fix it?

 

I mean you could level a class to 85 and do it again, giving the letter to that class... other than that I don't think anything can be done without a mod or admins help

This unfortunately is your best short term option.

 

What would be a long term option?

 

Salted sneaks in a way to get the letters back if you ver lose them. Or they become a quest item.

 

Seeing what is the reason why you don't get letters back, changing that on the server, and updating the lost so that people can actually use /fixquests for it.

 

Makes sense. I guess I'll get my 62 Archer to 85 as fast as I can while waiting. :P

Or I could just skip the quest and wait it out... The struggle.

 

You could grind at Freezing Heights or Molten Caves for easy levels, as they provide good amounts of mobs.

 

That's true, I think that's what I'll do, but I'm probably just gonna keep leveling up the class the quest messed up on and ignore it for the time being
