"...You don't happen to know the precise anatomy of your creatures, do you?"

 

"Nope. Apparently, Kailee has family."

 

"Oh. Then the insides of whatever you summon are most likely different than the actual thing, because normally it takes longer to digest something."

 

Buddy vomits on Crystal's face.

"What about that?"

 

"You know, she can be disciplined. She sees Xephyr as a mother figure, if we could just convince her to make Avis inclined to do some things more than others."

 

"I think that puppies probably shouldn't eat bugs."
I say, as Crystal creates some water and uses it to wipe of his face.

 

"Should I summon a bunny to eat, or something?"

 

"Well, that'd be a bit difficult, due to the fact that we're dealing with a puppy who probably doesn't know how to kill anything that doesn't accidentally walk into its mouth."
I stand up straighter and pull out my broadsword.
It's an amethyst broadsword, and it looks too heavy to possibly carry with one hand, yet I manage to do it easily.
"We could summon the bunny and kill it, first. If it doesn't drain too much of your power, or something."

 

"One way to find out."

Cecil summons a white bunny on your head.

"Better kill it before it uses the bathroom."

 

I attempt to snatch the bunny off my head, gripping it harshly.

 

The bunny cries. Buddy's head perks up to see the bunny.

 

Crystal looks at the crying bunny as well.

As quick as I can, I hold it by the body, hold it to the ground, and stab it through the head.

 

Buddy comes racing towards the bunny, and sits down.

 

Crystal walks over and sits next to Buddy, as I rip the body of the bunny from the pinned position.
Kneeling, I delicately start skinning the bunny.
"Do you think it needs to be cooked? He is a puppy, after all."
I address Cecil.

 

"Cooked. Don't want to risk Buddy being ill."

 

"Good point. Crystal, you ever cooked something before?"
"No, not really..."
"In that case, we'll do more of a rough style of cooking. Make a fire and contain it, will you?"
As Crystal lights and keep his hand on fire away from Buddy and grass, I continue to skin the rabbit.

 

"I'm surprised Crystal didn't try to save the bunny."

 

"I heard you guys. We're feeding Buddy, so it's okay!"
Crystal states for himself.

 

"Hopefully, he'll do his business somewhere else."

 

"Business?"
"It's another word for poop."
"Oh, okay."
