[poll] Wynncon 2017

If I remember correctly, the general consensus of Wynncon event were pretty positive. I'd argue that what happened with Wynnterfest was just a plethora of managerial issues and rushed planning. The builds and event concepts held a lot of potential.

I mean, it's not an official event and in all regards any sort of community-run affair is a positive thing and yields no loss whatsoever. I'd love to see this happen :o

I forget why I missed Wynncon, but I'll make sure to be there this time.

 

Yo, i fully support this and might even help y'all out as a temp builder/commandblocker/whatever the fuck, if you'd have me on the team.


Also i agree with everyone else, Wynnterfest was a *FUCKING WRECK* from what i've heard, so hopefully having a non-rushed version with some new crew members will alleviate that issue.

As long as I don't get muted for the entire event like in some other recent event, *cough* "wynnterfest" *cough*, then I'm all down for it.

 

I say do it. I don't know about anyone else, but Wynncon is my only favorite un-offical event that the Wynn community has to offer. Although it does have a lot of minor hiccups, I still think its great fun.

 

The thing about wynnterfest was it was pretty much a minigame server, which led to it being kind of a mess. Wynncon revolves more around Wynn with speeches and auctions etc. And yes, we did have the one elytra thing last year but Im probably gonna have that removed.

 

Who will be in charge this time?

 

Myself and mutton most likely. Depending on how big the staff team is this time around I might hire more.

What's the server capacity? Because we had 100+ people last year if I'm not mistaken. Also can it have plugins?

I didnt know what /stop did and several people were asking 'ooh whats it do' 'someone do it' etc.

In retrospect we should have asked you or yost or something but you were afk or something i think (Though my memory isnt always accurate xD)

 

For plugins, sure, but probably not enough for the expected amount of players. We might be able to use my server (5GB Ram), I'll see what I can do :p
