What are the differences between this and the 3DS version? Cuz it seems kinda redundant to have it on two handhelds (even if one can be a console.)

Well, I guess the wii u and 3ds aren't dead yet so that makes sense. Just like TP on gamecube and wii.

Looks Photoshopped to me, but it's a pretty good job of it. And I don't think the Nintendo Switch could support something as complex as Minecraft.

Yes, but not the PC version, and certainly not something as large as Wynncraft.

I don't believe it. Minecraft's PC version already can only be run on something that uses as much energy as a computer, and then there's Wynncraft with its great big plugin, textures, and all kinds of other stuff, and I don't think something with a battery like a small game console would be able to handle all that and more.

It can run the gargantuan new Zelda game. In some theoretical situation where we could get Wynn onto another console, the Switch could surely handle it.

I still doubt it. Minecraft in general is designed to be used on computers, and then there's internet connectivity to consider. Besides, Wynncraft itself changes with time, and each Switch game cartridge will just have a preloaded world as it is, without any changing/updating it.

 

There's no reason to assume the Switch won't have internet compatibility and software updates (every Nintendo console since the DSi has allowed for it), and Minecraft has been ported to several other consoles before. In this extremely hypothetical and unlikely situation, it definitely wouldn't be impossible. Though, admittedly, we can't actually know for sure as this is all just fun speculation on a concept that would probably never happen, based on a pretty good photoshop.
