Most Overrated/underrated Game

For what it was and who made it when 2.0 came out it was good and when 3.0 was getting fully fledged out there was a really good and fun casual zombie survival game that had it's moments of team play and high action shit (base raiding, car chases, etc.). But with the newest updates it's turning into a mentally handicapped version of Arma 3's DayZ and has just really lost direction imo.

I think quite a few people here know how good it is but to some people it's just "2D Minecraft" which is a shame.

 

Overrated: Battlefeild (because it's just another shooter)
Underrated: Xenoblade Chronicles

 

Overrated: Bethesda games. They're great games, but FO4 was a step in the wrong direction. I hope they turn that around with TESVI.
Underrated: Dark Souls. Not exactly underrated but the games are acknowledged for all the wrong reasons. When you hear about Dark Souls, you hear people saying 'Isn't that game super hard?' and, yeah, they're right, but Dark Souls is such a damn good game, and people need to recognize it for its absolute genius and not its difficulty.

 

Overrated: Overwatch (haha, bad puns)
Underrated: Team Fortress 2

If I'm going to be honest I much prefered overwatch to tf2 despite them being rather different games. The community in overwatch (atleast for the while I played it) was just so much better than TF2, but that probably has something to do with the fact that TF2 is free to play.

 

New gen skrublord. You only dislike Pokemon Red/Blue/YELLOW (YES, there's a YELLOW) because you've been spoiled by the easy path being a Pokemon Trainer in the newer games puts you on. You've been spoiled by instant transfers from the PC, your PC box switching to a new one when you catch a Pokemon and it's full, being able to get money easily, and being able to get TWO STARTERS. While that SOUNDS cool, it just makes the game idiotically easy.

Sure, the 2nd generation is one of my favourites, and instant pc transfers are a good thing, it's bad game design that the 1st games didn't have that.

Gen 1 gets an undeserved amount of praise, it may be the first pokemon game, but in comparison to the later games they are a glitchy shitfest.
The reason I didn't mention yellow is because that game fixed a bunch of the issues the 1st games had, and added proper color.

FUCKING HELL, I FORGOT ABOUT THAT. Add that to the new feature in Sun/Moon that straight-up TELLS YOU what moves are going to be super-effective or ineffective against your opponent, and everything's just bullshit. Though, I admit that the screen that shows your Pokemon's status effects is pretty cool.

Um, what the FUCK? You sound like an old centenarian complaining about modern appliances working for today's millennials. Your main argument is that Gen 1 is good JUST BECAUSE it's difficult. Being able to transfer Pokemon from the PC and getting money is a basic functionality (which the lack thereof should not be praised). The games are easy enough without store items, and you shouldn't have a problem not using them (since you seem to be such a MLG gamer from your claimed superiority over people who didn't use a mega-broken system)

Giving more information on the battle does not make skilled players any better, nor make the game easier to play (as opposed to a straight up buff/debuff to super/not effective moves). If you're criticizing SE/NE moves are shown, I can piss over the status screens, saying that you should be keeping track of the stat changes and know how they effect your Pokemon. Your only criticisms are just stemming from your pretentiousness over newer players.
Though I do agree with you on EXP shares, that's legitimately the worst feature ever.
