Mo Creatures Secret Jellyfish Skins?

i was looking on the mo creatures wiki, and i saw an image with 12 jellyfish. here is a link to the wiki area: http://mocreatures.wikia.com/wiki/Jellyfish

this may seem normal, but the last 7 skins wont spawn naturally, and i need those for a little build. does anyone know how to spawn these?

 

I'm pretty sure spawn eggs don't exist within Mo' Creatures, but maybe start by checking NEI (if you have it installed). Maybe mob spawners could also do the trick?

Also, how long have you been waiting for them to spawn? I'm not 100% sure, but each colouration may have a different rarity, similar to snakes.

 

from what it says on the wiki, and i quote, "Jellyfish will typically spawn using one of five different skins. Skins include light orange, purple-grey, light blue, green, and orange-red. There are also seven other skins, but jellyfish with these skins do not spawn naturally. These include orange-yellow, speckled blue, white, purple, blue, orange, and white."

also, there are spawn eggs in mo creatures, and they dont spawn them
i also tried /summon mocreatures.JellyFish and they still haven't spawned from that

 

How odd, were you able to find a spawner for them? I'll also try to dig through the config to see if I can find anything related to this issue.

It does? Oh well, I think we may've figured out the issue anyways.

By the way, Mariculture is another mod that adds some nice little blocks that may interest you. Clams, coral etc. ^^

i'm more of a pets mod person, the only problem is there are so little pet mods for 1.10.2, but i'll go see if that works with my mods

Do you have cheats enabled? It may also be to do with that I'm running 1.7.10

The code will give you one jellyfish spawn egg

EDIT: Didn't see that you had NEI working, I think you can access the spawn egg straight from there

 

nope, but i only just did 2 keys

the egg is accessible in the creative inventory, no need for big things like that



also, i would suggest we both use the 1.10.2 version so we have the same results

alright, i got it working

in esc menu, options, controls, go down until you find "mocreatures GUI". normally its set to "f13" which is a button i cant find, but i set it to RShift.

How odd, would gamemode 1 or enabling cheats make a difference?
