Guide Getting Atop The Detlas Hourglass - Now Available To Assassins!

Hello, Wynncraft community.

Getting atop the hourglass in Detlas has been an impossible feat for an assassin to accomplish. While Warriors can charge, Archers can launch themselves and Mages teleport, the speed 3 and jump boost 2 granted from Vanish has never been enough to clear the massive gaps on the path to the top of the Detlas hourglass and claim the loot chest atop it. That is, until recently.

As probably every single Assassin player knows, it recently got buffed to have a 'Mini Charge' with vanish. While this isn't as powerful as Warrior's charge that can essentially grant limited flight, it's still enough to somewhat 'glide' and cover a short distance if spammed. This has made the top of the Detlas hourglass reachable by Assassin, and I'll show you how in this step-by-step guide:

Step 1:
First of all, you'll need to get on top of Detlas' wall. This has been made extremely simple by the addition of Detlas' airbase:

Step 2:
Next, you'll need to climb onto this large wooden dome atop the wall:

You can use this lowered block around the back side to jump up instead of vanishing to jump up:

Step 3:
Now, you'll need to do a rather convoluted sounding jump, but it's much easier to perform than it sounds. You'll need to vanish, run forward and jump, and then vanish again to get boosted onto this tower:

Step 4:
Once you've jumped onto the tower, climb up to the top and jump onto the fence. This step is a little bit difficult, as you will need to have maximum mana in order to perform it. Once you're on top of the tower, face toward the stone capped tower, hold right click and perform a leap of faith toward it. You should vanish and re-vanish enough to glide toward the tower and land:

Being vanished at this jump is not entirely necessary (acting like the previous jump to the tower) but it can help if you're struggling to make the jump.
Step 5:
This step is the most difficult step, and requires precise timing (and maximum mana). First of all, climb to the top of the stone capped tower but do not jump onto the cobblestone wall at the top yet. Face toward the Detlas hourglass, and make sure the cobblestone wall is in your way. This will prevent you from being thrown off the tower for when you vanish in this next part. If you don't have maximum mana, simply wait for it to regenerate, then very quickly vanish, jump onto the cobblestone wall, then run and jump towards the Detlas hourglass and hold right click to vanish and re-vanish to glide. If done correctly, you'll just manage to get onto the lowest slab of the hourglass:


Step 6:
Congratulations! You've managed to jump onto the Detlas Hourglass using Assassin! Now you can claim the loot chest atop it and wow other players with your ability to get to a previously blocked-off area to assassin!

Well, it could teach players how to utilise Assassin's charge ability to reach new heights and areas, and to manoeuvre better, and as already stated:

Previously, getting the loot chest atop Detlas' hourglass was impossible for Assassin, but now it isn't.

 

Those are small things that anyone can figure out
