It's the best way to make sure that you yourself didn't dupe or are associated or know something about it. We want to be thorough with our search and will not stop until we figure out who is causing it.

 

but what if you do a transaction with a player and the items that he trades are duped without you knowing? xd

 

Then you should refer to the pictures of the duped items and ask a mod for help and give us information instead of running off and giggling in your corner that you have a mythic.

most people with duped mythics bought them without knowing you cant blame them for getting scammed there is no way of knowing

how can we know if one of our mythics is duped or not?

 

If you bought it recently and the person is a low level it is best to contact a moderator about it and we can investigate.

This does not mean you should be starting witch hunts though, contacting a mod about something shady is all you should be doing.

 

Why ban everyone that has a duped mythic? For example, I got a lament for extremely cheap so pretty sure it's duped, but I didn't know by the time I was buying it. Why tf should I be banned for not being able to magically tell that it is a duped item?

 

well if you bought it off someone not knowing you shouldnt be banned but something has to be done but the person who sold the mythic does deserve a ban since they most likely new it was duped

 

Well I asked them, they obviously said it wasn't duped but I'm pretty sure it was because he was selling tons of laments and monsters and other mythics. I'm not giving out his name but if somebody is selling a lament or another mythic for 1 stack don't buy it.

 

If you bought a mythic that might be duped you won't be banned unless you happen to have a few of them. Again as I said if you suspect that someone is selling you a duped item then contact a mod about it.

He shouldn't be releasing that to the general public, instead he should message a mod about it, as I said I do not want witch hunts.

 

Is it wrong for me to be excited for the price of some mythics to drop drastically due to this?

Nah just like with gaia's the price will be normal right after the duped ones are killed.

 

some dupes are gonna survive thus lowering the price

ye that would be nice but the horrible part of this would be that some people have gotten extremely rich without much effort
