A straw man is actually using a person's weak argument and putting it against your strongest, then acting like that proves your point.

I'm pretty sure that I don't support partial birth abortion, but I am pro choice. If a person says that I support partial birth abortion, that is a strawman. It's not my weak argument because I do not argue it. That's why it's called a strawman; it's fabricated.
