Not a crappy reply. Not true at all. Why? Because just from my description you understood this was about freedom. Nobody had delved into my art like you did, and this was exactly what I wanted the most.

    Thanks for your support.
I practiced pixel art professionally, I used to sell Minecraft skins (my skins portfolio) so I stuck with pixel art, but I'm not big on it, mostly because of what I shared with Ryuu on the comments above you. However, I like the dexterity pixel art involves, as well as its possibilities due to its limitations, so I found pixel art very inspiring for this artwork piece. In fact, like I had said on a comment above, this wasn'tt the desired product at all, but it evoked what I intended and it looked very good. I might redo this piece with another of my techniques I use to represent the hyper-realistic view I wanted (sike for me thinking I could pull of hyper-realism on pixel art lmao).

Ye, well, can't blame you. the art on these forums always seems a bit cookie-cutter-ish. Oh, and ,welcome back to the forums
    .

To me parties remind me of my childhood. Here in Mexico alcoholism is part of our life-style, so being alcoholic is not a problem. Which is ironic, since everywhere else alcoholism is seen as a problem, but that is only because it affects life-styles. But when it doesn't its not quite the problem, huh. So, anyway, the reason why I mention that is because anyone with a politically correct view would throw alcoholism down the bus, but its not quite how it works. But, to clarify: alcoholism is not a bad thing, only a bad thing when you start abusing people because of it. I digress. But, as I was saying, my parents both were influenced by alcohol and partied a lot, which is common for middle class and upper class in Mexico. So, whenever I think of my childhood, I think of parties, because I would be part of this. It ended up having effects on me in life, specially when I'd be 10 years old and would relate myself better to adults than to kids of my young age, as well as I liked adults more—Specially with their perfumes, entrepreneur adults (since once again middle and upper class) always would smell so nice, specially the guys; that's probably from where my attraction to men began lmaooo. Thought I'd let you know since you think of cities. I hope its not too late for you to remember why it reminds you of them. If it is, I recommend meditation(Buddhist practice), it does work. So, yeah, I had an unorthodox childhood, but none of it was wrongful, and I love it. So, don't say nobody cares because you care and as a responsible person I have to care too as you're giving me the opportunity to get to know you.

Like I had said on the begging, you understood my art by realizing it was about freedom. Thank you so much for that, it really was the reason why I posted this on these forums because I had nowhere else to share and because like I justified on the introduction of this thread, and because i wanted to dialogue with people and for them to see the meaning of my art, rather than just objectify it.

    Here's my opinion:
The colors remind me of time-lapse stuff, it reminds me of someone watching cars go by for a long time, and simplifying it into 1 picture.
The man standing ontop of a stand/building, looking out to the world, and the buildings with "TAAB" I'm getting the symbolism of "one day, I'll be known to the world".
And that's my opinion, sorry if I didn't state too much.

Why do people think it's a man, the heck. Never met a dude called Tabatha.

The buildings actually say "TABAT" and the streets are the "H" and "A" so, it says TABATHA

But, your meaning behind it is not far off, I've said the meaning on another comment, but the feeling your meaning conveys is the same feeling the actual meaning induces.

Yes, the streets are based on high exposure which is what many car photography and city photography uses.

    Thanks for your comment c:

This piece isn't related to adulthood, but I've written about adulthood a lot, so nice intuition you have got going there. Plus, the correlation is there since adulthood has to do with freedom, just as this artwork talks about freedom.

Your reply isn't too bad :P It's like average compared to the other replies. Most of the good replies you see are mine lmao.

I have no idea what the artwork is, what it's referencing, or what it means, but you evidently put a lot of effort into it and in my opinion that alone is worth a like.

You don't need to know any of those to evoke something in you; you need those to analyse and critique my art, and Im not asking you for a critique, I'm inquiring about you. Also, the description before the artwork tells you what it is about, and some of the comments on this thread expand on that meaning too, btw.

There was no effort because I didn't try, I only just got it done; in the most absurd and literal form of the word, I simply just "did". I had an intention and I got it done. That intention is on the description I had previously mentioned.
And since not everyone tries, nor not everyone does, your support is based on prejudice. Interesting plot twist, huh?

That means you actually don't like because I put effort. So, your argument is wrong, and you're naive about the meaning of my artwork. What is left for you to like then?—The actual picture, dah. And why you like the actual picture, that is exactly what I'm asking for, simply because you like it for something you only know.

However, it could also mean that you don't even like the picture, you're just attracted because you think I tried because you don't think of yourself capable of doing this. In other words, because you don't think of yourself capable, you project yourself, therefore thinking I put effort into it, because for you it would mean effort. And, I mean, that's envy.

So, you could say the meaning was right there, what it could have evoked in you was right there, but u were blinded by your attraction due to envy.

just some of my thoughts towards what you said :P

Interesting how that one sentence can mean a lot, no?

That's more honest than your original reply don't ya think? :p

And my question was "why do you like it?"
If your actual thought process was "that's cool" then I basically was asking you "why do you think it's cool?"

    That is evocation.

If you think it's cool because of effort, were on the same loop as before so...
