The Exact Number Of Item Mobs To Get A Mythic! (avarage Chance)

I could care less about what you or anybody else thinks about me, if you don't believe me than whatever.
In any case, that calculation is still horribly done math in my book. Anything you say isn't going to change my opinion of it. (I don't mean this in an insulting way, even if it came out that way.)

What can I say, I get easily triggered by bad math.

 

Bruh you didn't even explain anything in your post though. You could've told him that that wasn't the expected value (which would actually be about 99000 because expected value is the number of tries for a 50% chance of getting one) or something but all you did was say he was stupid. Like come on.

 

The expected value isn't defined as the number of tries for a 50% chance of getting one. Sometimes the expected number of times is nonintegral; how do you calculate the percent chance of flipping a coin 1.5 times and getting heads, for example?
In any rate, I'm pretty sure I explained pretty well that what he calculated was not the expected value, and that the closest thing that he could get to what he was trying to calculate was the expected value.


Anyways this is a pointless conversation so let's stop

 

One question. I believe somewhere it is mentioned that a mythic has a 0.00007(correct me here) chance of dropping. I'm wondering if its RNG or if its an actual concrete chance.

Yeah the reasoning is the same but i calculate how much item bomb you need to get 100 as drop rate, you calculate how much drop rate there is in 100 item bomb

 

You can't get 100% as the drop rate
