Exploit to that is that I could put a picture of me in my sylladex and then the connection would always be that I want the thing that I am putting in my inventory. Sorry I had to exploit the shit out of this... Awesome idea though!

Yeah there'd be a few ways to cheat the system, but that takes all the fun out of it.

 

Tant's concept actually gave me a similiar idea for the "diary modus" I've made up ages ago.
Just instead of finding connections you'd have to remember something from the day on which you added the item, something you've probably also written down.

It's called the Engineer modus
To captchalogue an item, you have to figure out how to use the item with another item nearby to create something new. Both of them are put in your sylladex. The only way to take it out of your sylladex is if you can use both items at the time. Wanna captchalogue an egg? Captchalogue some flour as well. Want to throw the egg? You have to throw the bag of flour as well.

 

That's actually quite creative. I can see it being used as an actual in-canon sylladex. Kind of reminds me of the modus Dirk uses, the Tech-Hop.

 

Ladies, Gentleman, Unavoidably Depressing Horses, I present the Fourpac Modus.

Why have Tupac when you can Fourpac? With the Fourpac Modus, in order to captchalong anything, you have to make a sicknasty beat out of the name of the item, and proceed to drop a dope-ass bar, talking about why you need the item. To retrieve it, you simply need to lay down the bar while the beat is playing. To play the beat, simply crack that shit in half! Now for a live demonstration

Notice: when a card is broken in half, it's broken forever. You're gonna need to make a new one. Shoulda read the fine print-fucko. My compatriot, your just got toasted.

 

Well, since everyone else is making Fetch Modi, I might as well make another one too:

The Biscuit Modus!

No, not like those delicious foodstuffs that you can snack on. Upon captchaloging something, you must set a timer of up to 1 hour. Once that timer is up, the item will be ejected from your sylladex. Items stored in your sylladex will still be affected by time, however, and the longer you set the timer, the lesser the effects will be. On the other hand, the shorter you set the timer, the greater the effects of time will be. If you captchalogue a piping hot bowl of soup for an hour, then it will probably still be piping hot, but if you captchalogue it for only 15 minutes, it'll probably be cold. Notably, items still store their momentum based on the time you keep the for. So, if you were to quickly captchalogue a fired bullet for an hour, then it would fire from your modus at high speed like it'd never been stopped, but if you captchalogued it for 10 seconds, it would plink onto the ground once the time was up. Useful to prevent yourself from being shot, but hard to weaponise. Don't expect to be holding on to a large amount of items at once, either.

 

That sounds like the most impractical modus ever designed.

It's perfect!

 

An even more impractical modus is the one that only lets you captchalogue butter.

 

Don't even get me started on the Egg modus, in which items you captchalgoue get sent back in time up to one hour, so you randomly receive items to use but most of the time end up sending back to yourself to complete the loop and not create a doomed timeline.

And even more impractical would be the one that only lets you captchalogue EXOTIC butters!

 

FNAF has corrupted and ruined me...

dont worry, i have a modus for me and any other people who have been corrupted by fnaf

the Freddy modus is a special modus, different from any other. It has a set of 50 cards in it's sylladex. No special things to access your cards, and nothing special to get them out. BUT, that comes for a price.
Using the Freddy modus, every card that has a captchalogued item will add 5% to your Fredometer. When it is at 0%, you have a chance of Chica dropping free pizza from the sky every hour. When it goes to 5%, you have a 5% chance per hour for one of the animatronics to appear and try to kill you. Each card adds 5% to the Fredometer. when you fill all 50 cards, you get 100% and are teleported to Freddy Fazbear's Pizza and are stuck in the nightshift.

 

NONONONONONONO!

 

So just only captchalogue 19 items and keep an eye out for those dumb robots.
