I'm really confused why the talking mushroom was added in the first place. Don't get me wrong, it's a cool Easter egg, though some of the dialogues just don't have any reason to be there in the first place.

 

It's funny. It adds more to the world.

 

Not the comedic ones, I'm talking about the one about the end portal and the realm of light. It just seems kinda odd for them to add dialogue to most unexplored places.

The Talking Mushroom has hardcoded impressions of places. It just says what it sees, and maybe insults you in the process if it's in the mood.

I mean, who doesn't want a selfish bastard, pointing out obvious stuff, and somehow squeezing insults in in its speech.
