    Correct me if I'm wrong, but if you use full T6 earth powders on a hive wand, it might be better than a Gaia!
    (Spell wise)

    Gaia with 3x T6 earth has 517-674 earth damage.
    The average amount is 595.5, and since the attack speed is slow it needs to be multiplied by 1.3. This equates to 774.15 damage.

    On the other hand, Hive Wand with 5x T6 earth has 290-410 earth damage.
    The average amount is 350, and since the attack speed is fast it needs to be multiplied by 2.6. The final damage is 960.

    I know people are gonna criticize me for not taking into account the other stats of Gaia, especially the raw strength bonus. But to be fair, Gaia has multiple negative stats in spell dmg, while Hive Wand has a 20% earth boost along with 2/4s mana. Thus, I didn't use ID's in my comparison.

    I used up all my hive master vouchers, so if anyone with a Gaia and Hive Wand wants to help me test this concept I'd really appreciate it! :)

    FYI the hive weapons' elemental damage bonuses were buffed last patch : they are a boost of 20 % instead of 10 %.

    Even more reasons to why mythics aren't that strong now when compared to hive weapons with 5 t6.

    Ok thanks! It's changed now.

    Yeah exactly, I don't get why Hive weapons are so underused, especially the wand! I mean, I have never seen someone use the wand before in PvE or PvP.

    I am pretty sure no one likes to spend their hive tokens on weapons they could replace with variants that usually fit their requirements better, especially since the Hive armor and accessories are MUCH harder to find an alternative for

    Unfortunately, it has less powder slots than Gaia, the same speed, and much less dmg overall. It would probably be the third best earth wand.

    how 'bout the other weapons and their earth variant, though?

    1 earth powder = 18-22 damage.
    infused hive damage with T6s:
    400-600 + 18-22x5 = 490-710
    attack speed: normal

    490-710 damage x normal attack speed. (2.0) --> 980 - 1420 DPS

    grandmother with T6s:
    615-830 + 18-22x4 = 687 - 918
    attack speed: Slow
    687 - 918 x slow attack speed (1.3) --> 893 - 1193 DPS

    WINNER: INFUSED HIVE
    Infused hive with T6s:
    200-300 + 90-110 = 290-410
    attack speed: very fast
    290-410 x very fast attack speed (3.3) --> 957-1353 DPS

    Grimtrap with T6s:
    775-960 + 18-22x3 = 829-1026
    attack speed: slow
    829-1026 x slow attack speed (1.3) --> 1078 - 1334 DPS

    WINNER: GRIMTRAP
    Infused hive with T6s:
    250-400 + 90-110 = 340-510
    attack speed: normal
    340-510 x normal attack speed (2.0) --> 680-1020

    Alkatraz without powders (no slots, rip.)
    1850-2150
    attack speed: super slow
    1850-2150 x super slow attack speed(0.5) = 925-1075

    WINNER: Alkatraz

    nope, nor did I any other ids. Since if you're gonna be using these numbers to make a build and I'd have added +20% earth damage, people might use the +20% earth damage numbers in %melee damage and for more %earth damage.

    Here are the numbers with +20% earth damage:
    infused bow: 1176 - 1704 (avg. 1440)
    infused dagger: 1148 - 1624 (avg. 1386)
    infused spear: 816 - 1224 (avg. 1012)

    grandmother w/ 7% spell/melee: 956 - 1432 (avg. 1194)
    grimtrap has no spell/melee/earth damage% boosters. It's got strength, just like the other earth mythics. But idk that bonus at that level, so I'm not calculating that with this. (it's average is 1206)
    alkatraz w/ +13% earth damage: 1045 - 1215 (avg. 1130)

    with this:
    the hive bow is still better.
    The hive dagger has taken the top from grimtrap. (But with earth damage boosting armor, grimtrap might be on top again. Dependent on the armor.)
    And alkatraz is still better than the infused spear
