Guide The Best Dps Weapons In The Game (it's Back!)

I was looking around on the Wnncraft wiki and on the weapons page I found some useful info regarding attack speed and dps of weapons, like the amount of hits per second for each attack speed.
Thanks to the expertise thread by @motoki1 about damage calculation, he revealed the values on that wiki page were wrong and was able to reveal the correct attack speed values for each tier.
This made me abandon this thread for a while because it proved the damage values I spent much time calculating were based around the wrong numbers and I was too tired of updating this thread already. But now with a fresh mind I decided to revive this thread and update it using the damage values moto was so kind to give so much love to him.

I've made some updates and changes

• Thread now uses attack speed values provided by motoki
• Removed the no powders list since it's quite redundant to include and it'll be easier to update the thread when no items are released

Attack speed values

• Super Fast - 4.3 Hits Per Second
• Very Fast - 3.1 Hits Per Second
• Fast - 2.5 Hits Per Second
• Normal - 2.05 Hits Per Second
• Slow - 1.5 Hits Per Second
• Very Slow - 0.83 Hits Per Second
• Super Slow - 0.51 Hits Per Second

Base damage formula: (Min. Damage + Max. Damage) / 2 * AttackSpeed

Please note:

• These lists only account for base damage and attack speed value and doesn't include IDs.
• This list does include bonus powder damage
• 1 powder slot = +18 base damage
• Right now the Wynn API is down so new items released in the Corkus update aren't in any of the lists for now but they should be pretty soon

I want this thread to be as accurate and helpful as possible and I will do my hardest to make it so but I will probably make some mistakes and I'll need to be called out on it :)

Don't forget about ids, both positive and negative. Otherwise, pretty neat, I haven't seen something like this before.

Faster weapons get a spell damage multiplier.

 

The average damage of powders is 18.3 so at least add that much to the base damage for each powder slot

Yes you do to get the average damage of the weapon.

Say, Flameshot Hilt. It deals 1000-1500 damage. To find its average, you add up the minimum and maximum, then divide by 2.

In this case, 1000+1500=2500

2500/2=1250

And then, he multiplies it by the attack speed, though I'm not sure of the calculation from there.

 

But how do you know what the attack speed value is as in multiplying the Attack SPeed in the equation?

 

Do the math and cluster's base Dps is only 500.

The calculations only count the base stats and don't include IDs, spell damage, or powders.
Those calculations will be left to you since the value of IDs and powder tiers and slots vary greatly for each weapon.

 

50+300=350
350/2=175
175*4=700

???

 

[edit] Nvm wynnapps and item guide are wrong I think.

 

In the wiki it says cluster's damage is 50-250

 

I don't think he knew Cluster got buffed.
