Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

Artemis smiles, gently petting Kailee.

I walk over, "Hey, so, are you feeling talkative now?" I ask.

 

Kailee slides between you and Artemis, glaring at you and glancing worriedly back at Artemis periodically.

 

"So...can you talk?" I ask, teleporting over to Artemis and holding her hand.

 

Kailee shakes her head no, glaring at you, but not directly at you.

 

"Hm. Alright." I say.

"Why are you so hostile?" Artemis asks.

 

Kailee starts etching letters in the ground.
"Darknis bad. Lite good." She barely legibly writes, staying closer to Artemis.

 

"I find that offensive." I say, crossing my arms.

"Didn't Rineth say that Kailee can only see magic?" Artemis asks.

I nod.

"Darkness isn't bad, Kailee." Artemis says kindly.

 

"But darknis tris to kil mi" Kailee writes, seeming more confused than hostile.

 

"No?" I ask.

"Aj won't hurt you." Artemis says, smiling.

 

"Hi trid to kil mi" Kailee writes.
"Has sord, is scari. Othr dark has saith, wantid to kil mi. Just want to protekt lite frum dark."

 

"We're friends, don't worry." Artemis says happily.

"This sounds incredibly racist, you know." I say.

"How?" Artemis asks bluntly.

"She likes 'Light' and hates 'Dark' because 'Dark' supposedly tries to hurt people. That's racism right there." I say assertively.

Artemis puts her head in her hands, sighing.

 

"YU TRID TO KIL MI." She writes right under your feet, growling.

 

"Oh please, I was just messing around," I say, "I've tried to kill Artemis at times too."

"No you haven't." Artemis says, slightly annoyed. Artemis doesn't flinch as I put Shadow Katana to her neck, she simply pushes it away.

"Stop messing around!" Artemis snaps, annoyed.

"S-Sorry." I say, looking rather guilty.

 

Kailee grunts smoke into your face as she slides by Artemis.
"Dont hurt the lite."

 

"It's because the darkness guy is dating Artemis."

 

(We hit it)

 

Artemis jumps over Kailee with assistance from a pair of wooden hands, rising out of the ground to launch her. Artemis holds my hand, "Kailee, it's fine." Artemis says, sighing.
