Wynncraft Discord

So we are finally taking the plunge and we decided to take Discord for a ride!

Our players have been telling us over and over that they wanted an official Discord channel, so after some test runs and a quick twitter poll, we decided to give it a shot and replace Teamspeak with Discord. However, if the demand is high we can get TS back in action, but we think it's not going to be necessary because this is pretty cool.

Private Text Channels
When you join a voice channel, you can open the private text channel for everyone in that same channel by clicking the Open Chat button on the right side of the voice channel.





Private Rooms
There are plenty of private rooms for you and your friends to join and hang out.



Automatic Ranks
You can able connect your forum account to your Discord account (see below) to give you the proper name color, as well as a few secret donator channels!





Memes For Days
Just connect, you'll see.

Linking your forums account with Discord:

You can do this to get your rank on Discord.

On the top bar, go to your settings, and click on External Accounts.




Click the Associate with Discord button.




If you have a Discord account, log in, if you don't have a Discord account, you can easily set one up by clicking Register.




You will be given a permissions page, click Authorize and you will be taken back to the forums. Type your forums password in the box to confirm, and you are done!






Your rank should now display on Discord.

1. Keep it clean; No insults or excessive cursing.
(No inappropriate language, or insulting other members, this includes racism. In short, keep it PG-13.)

2. No Spamming.
(Do not spam in any channel, includes voice channel spamming.)

3. No inappropriate links, images, or language.
(Links/messages cannot contain advertising of any kind, racism, pornography, gore, or any other disturbing things.)

4. No Loud Noises, inappropriate songs, or intentionally annoying songs.
(Inappropriate or annoying are not allowed, this includes racist or offensive songs.)

5. Ban Evasion.
(If you are banned on Discord you are not allowed to use an alternative account to join.)

6. Names
(No inappropriate names or impersonation of staff or members.)

7. Stay on topic.
(Keep topics to their channels, questions in the question section and trade in the trade section, this includes memes in #memes )

8. Useless messages.
(Messages that are generally useless, not putting much thought into what is being said, moderator discretion may be used. #memes and #vip_room is the exception.)

9. Trolling & baiting.
(Posting messages or images with the intent of getting a negative reaction.)

If you are asked not to play a song/artist and continue to play it you will be banned from using the music channel.
If these rules are broken you will be sent a message notifying you, continuation of breaking the rules will result in a ban from channels or the Discord.
