Yeah but I was really hoping for a pure water legendary
Pretty much every class has one (except Mage but it has Ethereal and Requiem which is legendary-like)
And I know there's Rewind but eh

 

WHAT ABOUT THRICE AND SNOWSLASH
Also, why pure water, you have to have at least two elements in your builds just because you get 198 (200 at 101) skill points.
Aka use Belcon (Water/Earth), Gibyeong (Water/Fire), Tsunasweep/Waterspout (Water/Thunder) or Nimbus (Water/Air)

 

Yeah but still there's no water legendary, I know there's these ^ and stuff but usually legendaries are just way better.

The reason people want to focus on only one element is because it does the most damage in focusing on one element. Lets say you do 4000 Fire damage and you're facing a mob with high rainbow elemental defence or a rainbow build that reduce 1000 dmg on all stats, you will do 3000 damage. But if you do 2000 Fire damage and 2000 Water damage and you damage that mob, you will only do 2000 damage.

Also if you want to say elemental weakness, if a mob/player have high elemental defence it most likely do not have a particular weakness, and if that mob does have a weakness meaning its not a particularly strong mob or not a player that focus on high elemental defence, so the elemental defence won't be particularly strong anyways

yes you are ofc forced to split to focus on at least 2 elements but people still wishes to use only one element's damage as even with 200 skill points you seldom put all into only two elements but instead focusing on one and the rest is put into different stats to facilitate armours

its unfortunate that you and selvut do not agree the point i mentioned above

I started the post to showcase endgame stuff that was added in the game but it turns out there were more than "end game" gears added but I did not realised to the title
again showcasing how this community are so tolerant to mistakes and always try to give warm advices amirite

you know wt, I see your point that doing massive one elemental damage is suppose to be mythics job I guess this part is quite true, but i don't recall there being a end game legendary dagger that does water damage (whether its one element or two) and as blowwww said yeh legends do more damage so theres that

 

Why does the community think that it has to be legendary to be any use in the endgame? Just use snowslash or thrice or double with thunder for extra damage and use tsunasweep, unique and rare weapons are just as good as legendaries and even better in some situations now. This isn't pre-gavel, every item has a use and every item is effective.

 

It doesn't have to, it's just better.

@SilverMirror I just found a new bow while doing quests.

 

Why rip? It got a BUFF. As in, it is STRONGER.

 

It seems like folks see blue text and assume it must be better than "lower" tier items. There are items in either the unique and rare tiers that I would pick for my character over some legendaries.

However, as inventory is always annoyingly short, using the tier as shorthand to determine what gets held and what gets left behind (pre-ID anyway), makes sense.

First I saw someone posting it got buffed to 25%, so i got hyped, then someone posted it wasnt 25 but 20%, then 15% . So rip my hype
