Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

I just shrug.

Artemis laughs.

"Hah, that's awesome." I say calmly.

 

"The fire is temporary, from what I'm told."

Crystal's puppy runs up to Aj.

"Please, go back to Crystal."

 

I smile, gently petting the puppy. I summon a small bone, right enough size for the puppy and offer it to the puppy.

"Who's a good puppy? Hm? Who's a good little puppy?" I ask in a cutesy voice.

 

"She can only see magic. Light in Ihra and Artemis, darkness in you, Myria, and me, then red in Abigail."

 

"And blue in Katie, and a mix in Stephanie, I would assume?" I ask.

 

"I dunno, she hasn't seen Stephanie."

 

The puppy is biting the bone, clearly happy.

"That's good to know."

"How many friends do you have?"

 

I shrug, "Guess we'll cross that bridge when we come to it then." I say.

"Well, there's Artemis, Myria, Abigail, Katie, Stephanie and Shadow Stephanie," I say, thinking as I say each name, "Yeah...that's about right."

 

"If you ever come to it. She thinks the next time she sees you she's dead, so I'd expect to be scratched if I were you."

 

"She attacks me I attack her." I say, crossing my arms.

 

"Two Stephanies?"

"Remind me to not let Kailee out around you."

 

"Well, yeah. There's Stephanie and her Shadow. Essentially a version of her that looks a bit like I do, with the whole darkness and red eyes such." I say.

I wink at Cecil following the second statement.

 

Crystal's puppy looks at you, expecting to get picked up.

 

I pick up the puppy, cradling it in my arms and gently stroking it.

 

"He likes you...somehow."

The puppy falls to sleep.

 

I gently stroke the puppy as he sleeps, keeping him safe in my arms.

"Cute." I say, glancing at Artemis. Artemis smiles at the puppy and I.

 

"Crystal would want him back."

 

"Oh, yeah, of course. I'll give him back." I say, keeping the puppy safe.

 

"She literally can't hurt you. You can kill her... do you not see the difference?" Rineth mutters.

 

"Doesn't excuse her attempting to hurt me. It's the thought that counts, you know." I say defensively.
