"SHE IS DEATH!" Kailee roars.

Kailee grins, lowering her head to the ground before letting loose a jet of flame into the sky again.
She takes a few more steps towards Myria.

 

"Something about being beacon of darkness."

"Stop, or I'll put you back in the tome."

 

Kailee hesitates.
"Fine. I'm not going to burn her." She groans.

 

Myria stands her ground, her hands glowing.

"That's strange...Aj isn't around, nor are any Shadows..." Artemis says, thinking.

 

"Good." Cecil puts her tome down.

"Who's Aj?"

 

Kailee walks up to her, sniffing at her gently before slowly walking backwards, growling.

 

"Oh, um, my love interest. He's a Shadow." Artemis says, turning red.

Myria stays where she is, keeping a constant eye on Kailee.

 

Cecil stares at you. "Ok."

 

Artemis laughs nervously, before looking away; watching Myria and Kailee.

 

Kailee glances around a bit before shifting towards Artemis.

"I want to be with the light girl. Why is she not attacking the dark lady?"

 

Myria's eye on Kailee turns to a foreboding glare.

 

"Probably because...I don't know."

"I'm wondering, are you and Myria related somehow? You both look alike."

 

Kailee inhales again, aimed straight at Myria while moving towards Artemis.

 

"Oh, yes. She's my mother." Artemis says, smiling.

 

"Can you ask for me?"

Upon hearing this, Kailee chokes, tripping over herself.

 

Myria's glare doesn't falter, and she draws her scythe; making sure Kailee can see.

 

Kailee's gaze goes from Artemis to Myria over and over again, confusion in her eyes.

 

"Thank you."

"They'r-Seriously?"

 

Myria keeps her glare, taking a step to block Kailee from Artemis.

"That doesn't make sense..." Kailee utters.

Kailee lets out a roar.
