Gavels 1 Year Birthday

Happy birthday gavel <3

 

I remember the first week of gavel. Absolute fuck show. At one point, the servers changed their terrain to vanilla.

 

Yes that was fun

 

I prefer to think for his as the day that damn door finally decided to open.

 

I remember waiting 6 hours from the time they stopped all servers to do maintenance to the start when they finally released the first few people into the lobbies.

It got messy real quick.

 

And then there's me who joined Wynn the day after Gavel came out and didn't even know that the update was new.

 

I remember camping on the volcano islands with free inv slots just like a shout said to (from grian) and then logging in to the update room and knowing I fucked up
I also remember a ton of shouts being thrown around either saying gavel was awesome and great or saying gavel was crap
EDIT: I also remember crashing quite often for some reason (like my minecraft actually closed on me) and then when gavel came out... it all stopped
now the only crashes I have is because missions and wynnter update which is just annoying af

 

I still remember the flood of "WHEN IS GAVEL COMING OUT?!?!?!?!?!!?!!?!??!??" threads during the hour or two before release. Good times.

 

I remember my first run through the tutorial area. I wa thinking 'holy shit is gavel actually here?'

 

I remember when I took a clock in Llevigar, it was cool.

 

I remember when Gavel was made... on 12/20/15.
