Loot Chest Loot Bonus

So i was wondering if loot bonus effected loot chest.... i asked my guild they said it did....
i got my best loot set which is a 100% loot bonus and i went on my normal loot run.... when i did i got complete crap best thing was a rare spear... i usually get around 4-6 legendary's a usually run without gear....
So was this a coincidence or does loot bonus not effect loot chest?

I think that loot bonus applies to loot chests and killin mobs. The way that loot bonus works for loot chests is that it gives you more items in the chest, but it does not affect the tier of items in the chest. The tier of items(rares, legendaries, mythics) is determined by how long a loot chest sits unopened.

 

i know how the way tier items work in chest but my experience with loot bonus armor and lot chest was i got something like normal items and a few emeralds guess i just had a bad run

 

Loot bonus affects loot chests, it was just a coincidence that you got the rare spear from the chest.
I have a 167% loot bonus percentage, but sometimes when I open tier 3 chests, I get like 1 normal item. It just happens.

 

Yeah, sometimes it's just bad luck that people choose to open all your loot run chests.

 

Someone most likely opened the same chests around 20 minutes ago, loot chests that are open for only a few minutes usually have garbage inside.
