SPOILER Conflicts Of The Provinces

From what I know, each province usually has some sort of conflict which backs up their lore. Let me go through the information I know.


The Wynn Province is dealing with corruption, (zombies, skeletons, just that sort of deal).

The Gavel Province is dealing with the decay, as their forests are slowly decaying, (which I have not gone far to investigating).


These are the two provinces we are allowed to enter. I will now post information about the others.


From what I know, the Fruma province may have a conflict, after since the recent wynnmas update, you can walk up to the doors of the province, and the guard will tell you "Her Majesty" is not allowing visitors.

Corkus may be dealing with a conflict that involves machines. So far we know that they are know to create massive machines, but they are also an expanding province, (that they are just an island so far).

I do not have any information on Dern, and that is probably gonna be way after the fruma/corkus updates.


Once these provinces are updated we should find out the lore and the conflict if they really have one.

What do you guys think the lore could be about these two provinces? I am obviously an idiot when it comes to massive investigation and detective work so I cannot give everyone the best information. Why is Corkus involved with machines? Why is Fruma closed?

Fruma could just be closed because the update isn't out, but you never know.

Fruma won't let its people out, or other people in. (Except for Ragni recruits) People are trying to escape.

The Avos and broken/rogue machines are the conflict in Corkus, I believe.

P.S: You forgot about Bloomi and Morgor.

 

Fruma : Don't want to deal with magic and corruption and hate villagers.
Corkus : Deal with the Alos tribe, go watch the replay of the stream of Grian.
Dern : The eye.

 

Corkus has the tensions with the Avos, the original inhabitants of the island. As far as I know, they are currently at a ceasefire, but it's possible that something may break it and cause a major issue. The government of Corkus is also trying to be recognized as a Province by Wynn and Gavel. From what we can infer from the Corkian banners in Llevigar docks, at least one city has recognized them, but it seems they have a long way to go before the Wynnic monarchy or other Gavelian cities do too.

 

What I'm hoping is that Fruma's conflict is that there might be some sort of rebellion of sorts...

My reasons behind this is the "Entering is punishable by death" part of the Fruma guard's dialogue. What I hope happens, is that there is a rebellion against the Queen, and you get to choose your side, you either get to be on the rebellion's side, or the Queen's side.

There would be quests revolving around this conflict leading up to the end quest for Fruma... which would be the battle that decides the fate of Fruma, either you take the side of the Queen, and kill the leaders of the Rebellion, or you side with the Rebellion and kill the Queen... it'd be really interesting, and a different type of conflict other than just a unstoppable force infecting the world.

Gavel's also (sort of) dealing with villagers being extremely greedy, it just doesn't really play a big part in the lore, at least Gavel's lore.

 

Not entirely true... The greed of the villagers weakens the light realm and weaken them so much the darkness could invade the light realm. After the light realm was crippled the darkness manifested as the decay.

Wait wait wait wait wait wait, wait just one moment. I had a lightbulb moment.

What if... what if, the provinces of Wynn, Gavel, Corkus, Fruma, and Dern are part of a continent.

And what is the name of this continent?

Bloomi.

Mind. Blown.

This would break the lore, however. Right now the guard is saying it's a death penalty for entering Fruma without permission, and when Fruma comes out they will just let you in willingly without permission? Nah.

I would like to think that there isn't a problem around magic in Fruma, but about the society. The Queen is fighting against a rebellion or it's a corrupted government. The Queen is kind, but the government uses her power to perform actions under her name, therefore the people learn to fear the Queen instead of the government, who are the real bad guys here.

I really want that scenario to be a thing tbh :-:

 

Gavel is also dealing with the gerts
And the people of the Ahms region are trying to restore their broken land

 

Wynn: Poverty, the economy, greed and corruption,

Gavel: Religion, satism, false belief and greed

Corkus (possibilities): Environmental danger, Resource depletion, deforestation, pollution, killing natives, Claiming land as all of theirs

Fruma (possibilities): War, Power, Government

Well if there are so many different races it would make sense for it to be a continent

 

I can see as the four provinces as a continent, but where would Dern be? It would be possible that it is outside of the continent on its own, or in a new one bordering Bloomi.

I'M STICKING WITH THE QUEEN <3

 

There are dark knights and archers right outside of fruma. I wonder if that's what they're dealing with, the darkness or something similar.

 

From what we know Dern is the province of darkness.

 

It seems to me that probably one the main reasons Ragni is getting so many recruits is because those people are trying to escape Fruma and will do anything to live in another province. Also, Who does Corkus belong to? Since a Corkan Citizen states that Corkus is not a province.
